Miley/Hannah Fan Moms - did you hear about the tour? What about Miley World?

Hi all

I was wondering if anyone has any information about a 2009 Tour for Miley Cyrus. DH heard it this morning, and that it included Canada. I have been scouring the internet all night looking for information and have not had any luck at all. Does anyone have any info on this?

Also, is it worth it to join Miley world for presale? $29.95 is over $40 CDN, so I would not want to do it unless it was worthwhile, but I would do it if it meant we would get seats for sure - KWIM??

From my experience with her last tour, you definitely are not guaranteed tickets if you join her fan club for the presale. I did and fan club presale tickets were sold out in <minute for the Kansas City date. We ended up getting tickets (AT COST), but was sweating it up 'til the last day at 3:30PM. I have friends in MO and did get presale tickets for the St. Louis date through the fan club presale for them. I had that extra minute.

Oh man... I didn't hear about this.. I am not even gonna mention it to dd.. lol..

We were part of this last time, and i did join the FC to get presale, and i was one of the lucky FEW that got tix! We had unbelievable seats. But, it was sheer luck. I was never so nervous in my life.. LOL I didn't even realize how much the tix cost til i went back after my confirmation to see.. LOL I was just so concerned about getting them.. Turns out i paid for and got the most expensive seats (65.00 each), however, turns out i could have resold my tickets and paid my mortgage for the month! LOL
We had a great time at the concert, and i am just assuming that this tour will be more of the same issues.. and lots of disappointed fans.

I signed up for mileyworld for the presale code my dd has never even been on the website but she's not much of a computer girl. It doens't matter who the fan club or concert is for you are not guaranteed tickets the we just went through this w/ the Jonas brothers I signed up days before and they didn't give out the codes till the tickets went on sale it was mess. In addition to all of that I was able to get some but mine and every other person I know that got tickets the only thing they were able to get was in the 300 section which is the nose bleeds and to top that off after selling the tickets they changed the seating chart. I lucked up w/ the HM concert b/c she added a show in NO at the end of the tour I had great seats on the floor fourth row from the end of the runway and we were directly in the center. ticketmaster and our venue had tickets on sale the day of the concert this included all levels (floor included). I am hoping for the same thing for JBros b/c I would prefer the 100 section to the 300 section. Good luck w/ you decision.

Thank you everyone. I signed up - what a pushover I am!! But a friend and I agreed to split the cost so we could take our DDs.

Our problem is we are in Central Canada, so we often do not get the "big" concerts here and may have to travel. The sooner we can find out the dates and learn about tickets, the better!!

I will not post details of Miley World up here, but I will say that as of this time there is no concert information on the site

Hope DH wasn't just hearing things - LOL!!

We joined Mileyworld for the 2007 concert. Manymany people were angry that they joined and did not get tickets. Maybe with this tour, they will do things differently, but it was awful the first time. We were lucky to get tickets. Actually one of the perks was that we got a special ticket to turn in at the party before the concert. It was for a chance for a meet and greet and we ended up winning the last 2 tickets. You never know what can happen if you join.
This time around, i am passing. Too much stress to get tickets. We did HSM, Hannah Montana and Jonas Brothers. That is enough for now.

We joined Mileyworld in 07. We were some of the lucky ones who got tickets with the presale. If I knew then what I know now I would have bought more and "paid the mortgage" LOL
We are members of team Jonas also and we did get tickets to the new concert but it was a mess with getting the presale code the day of. Plus their website is soooooo slooooow. I really enjoy Miley website alot more than Team Jonas. TJ seems more for older girls. Sometimes DD8 is afraid to post anything because of the older girls always judging.

I heard in a Miley interview that this summer she was filming a movie that was written with her in mind. A different role then she has played before, a different side of her - so I would be surprised to see her tour too. But?????

I am one of those push over Mom's too. My daughter is a member of Team Jonas and Miley World. We joined Miley World for her 1st tour, it was only her 2nd stop on the tour, so I think we got lucky. We got tickets on the presale & they said floor seats, row 18. So I was concerned that she wouldn't see (she was only 6), when we got to the concert we found that the stage actually had a cat walk & since it came so far into the crowd, we were 6 rows from the center of the catwalk. AWESOME SEATS!

Then with the Jonas Brothers, we stood in line for a ticket wristband lotto draw for 4 hours & got row 5 for that. I then later joined Team Jonas for furture concerts. I couldn't get any decent tickets at all on any of the presales, I got tix on the public sale - not the best, but they are tix.

I have marked to not renew any of the memberships - You are either lucky or not. With Hannah/Miley concert I purchased the 1st tix that came up (2) and kept looking. 35 minutes into the sale I got these that were 6 rows from stage.

Same thing happened to the Jonas Brothers - better tix are released as the day goes on & the day of the concert alot of floor seats are released. You just have to be on the computer refreshing at the right time, thats all.

So, I purchased the Team Jonas membership for nothing (except the membership things they send you).

Demi Lavoto came out w/the membership too & the presale is for "members only". Whereas Taylor Swift has a Fan Club - but it is free & they still send you a presale code for tix. You can tell who is out for the money & who is out for their fans - just my opinion! I know I still purchase them, just seems funny that some want to make more money & they probably make a butt load just on the concert & concert merch., do they really have to add a membership?

Anyway - my 2 cents worth!

I was looking at the ticketmaster site and our area (San Antonio) is ticketless. It says you will have to provide your credit card and your photo ID. They will swipe the credit card and that is how you will get in. No tickets will be issued. They say it is to guarantee that everyone will pay face value. I guess this will keep the ticket brokers/scalpers away. I think this also gives us a MUCH better chance at fairly good tickets. The most you can purchase in one transaction is four tickets as well. But the cheapest tickets will be about $50 after the service charges. Yikes!
So I am still debating. . .

I was going to take my DD to see this concert until I read in another thread on te budget board not to expect anything to do with "Hannah" for this concert. My DD likes Miley, but she also likes "Hannah" and I think she would have been disappointed if "Hannah" never made an apperance.

I joined the fan club {thank goodness didn't pay full price} had the pre-sale code and just for the heck of it entered all the info just to see what kind of tickets I could get. Best ones were of course the most expensive $79 something each {I was going for 3} and by the time I added on ticketmaster fees {how can a ticket fee be charged when there is no ticket is beyond me} and the arena's fee, of course all these fees are per ticket, it was going to cost around $300..... NO WAY!!! Not with our Disney trip coming up and to boot the concert is the same week we get back from Disney and on a school night. Plus the opening act is Metro Station, Miley's brothers band. Not the greatest group for kids younger then 13.
