I haven't cashed in for so long and was really hoping they would bring back the supercertificates or add webbies. Doesn't appear that either of those is going to happen, anyone care to share what they have been cashing their points in for?

I've been cashing for the Olive garden GC's. They're actually a "Darden Restaurants" GC, good at Red Lobster, Olive Garden, Bahama Breeze & Smokey Bones BBQ.

There's a Bahama Breeze in Orlando. We plan to have dinner there one night on our next trip.

The GC is one of the options at GiveAnything.com

I've been thinking this one over, myself. The whole reason that I do rewards programs is to fund my Disney trips. There's not a lot on their site that I would use specifically in WDW, but here goes.

I'm considering the following:
For Food: (RFC would have been nice, I miss SuperCertificates)
  • Bennigan's
  • Chili's
  • Kentucky Fried Chicken
  • Olive Garden
  • Red Lobster
  • Pizza Hut
  • TGI Friday's
For Lodging on our first night: (We prefer to stay onsite)
  • Marriott / Courtyard Hotels
  • Hyatt Hotels & Resorts
For Transportation: (Not my preferred agency but it will do)
For a Good Guidebook: (Maybe a Passporter or Unofficial Guide?)
  • Barnes & Noble
For a good fannypack: (The zippers on my old one are breaking)
  • Eddie Bauer
For Comfortable Walking Shoes: (Who doesn't need these?)
  • Footlocker
For New Clothes for the Trip: (I can always give them as gifts to my nephews if I don't use them for Disney)
  • Macy's
  • Old Navy
  • The Gap

I have quite a while before my next trip so I have the luxury of waiting to choose. Does anyone know how long you have from the time you cashout until the GiveAnything.com code you get expires?

The code expires one year from the date you receive it in the email.

I have decided to not use my Milesource for Disney since there is not much there anymore, but I now focus my Milesource for giveanything certificates for baseball gear for my sons.

Cleats, batting gloves, sliding shorts, underarmor, knee savers, etc. All that stuff adds up every year.

If the item I want is less than $25, I get it at Sports Authority.com or Dicks.com directly online. If it's more than $25 I get the paper certificates for Footlocker and use more than one.

I found out that the online certificates ARE NOT stackable. :-(

I cashed in for a giftcertificate now I just have to decide for where.
Thanks Mattsmom for the info on the olive garden ones being good at other places also.

I too was disappointed with the removal of super cert.:( I cashed out for $25 in Pizza Hut coupons. I figure we can use them almost anywhere. Sure wish we had more to choose from!

i just cashed out for $100 gift cert from barnes & noble. wont help with diseny but i homeschool and i need to add more books to DS's home library.

Thanks for all the suggestions everyone! I used to use my supercertificates for RFC gcs and that worked out great. Since we fly down and do not rent a car we don't get the opportunity to eat anywhere but at WDW so those were perfect for us. And I use mypoints for webbies to get D$ so that cashing in for RFCs there doesn't seem worth it.

Glad to hear that you guys have thought of other ways to use your points there!

When I cash out at Milesource, I usually get Red Lobster GC's...DH and I love to eat there and since I can't get anything to use towards our Disney trip, I end up with those...or once and awhile I will get Barnes and Noble, because I love books! :)

I was hoping to get red lobster GC's then stand in front of the restaurant until I could sell them at a discount for Disney Dollars or get tossed from the front doors by a manager...:teeth:

Ummmm, Dave.........

Maybe you should just go on a seafood binge with those Red Lobster GC's! :earseek: Restaurant managers don't take too kindly to that kind of behavior. We wouldn't want Jackie having to blow the rest of your WDW trip $$$$ to bail you out now, would we???? :teeth:
