Mike any customer stories?

Hey Mike!

From someone that is now in cubeville all day I have a request. You work with customers all day long, and not to mention people that are drinking. Any good customer stories you can share with us? When I worked as a Front Office Manager of a hotel we had new stories every day. Without getting specifics any funny requests lately?

Just need a laugh.

Not lately, been pretty boring.....the usual stuff....

"What time is the 3:00 parade etc..."

Most of the drama lately is back stage, with the economy the way it is lots of people are freaking out about loosing their jobs!

I will give you a funny one from a few years ago! We were short handed on the golf course, so they put me out on the beer cart, a job usually reserved for cute young gals. Well I pull up to a foursome and what is the first word out of their mouth? "Damn, you're the ugliest beer girl we have ever seen!"

I hit the gas!

For the rest of the day when I drove past them they would wave frantically wanting beer, I would flash my best Disney smile and wave right back as I drove right past them!

Memo...."Dont piss off the beer dude!"

I have one as a Disney guest... we were in the UK in the WS, and we overheard a tween boy (looked to be about 12 or so) ask the people he was with, "What language are they talking?" He was referring to a couple standing near carrying on a conversation. The woman in his little group gave him a quizzical look and said, "English!"

It isn't a work story, but a kid story; it is still really funny.

My oldest daughter's class watched the movie at school to learn about how girl's bodies change as they grow older. My DD missed the movie because we were in Disney World. When we came home her BFF told her they also watched the movie about how boys' bodies change. DD's BFF has two brothers, so I guess they decided she was the most knowledgeable about the subject. I heard them giggling and talking on the phone. So, that night I was putting DD to bed and we were talking. She started telling me about what she learned from her BFF about the boy-body movie. I told her that in the future if she has questions she should probably ask me rather than talk to her BFF. She pauses for a minute, then looks at me with her beautiful black eyes, shrugs, and says: "Okay, but you didn't see the movie."

It was an absolute riot.

My 7year old (+ ) was just given the "facts of life" from another boy in his class.
As it was explained to him, you just take off your clothes and jump up and down with each other.
He asked me "Is it wierd?"
It was funny, and sad at the same time.

Since we're including kid stories, i have to share something my 7yo DS said the other day. We were having dinner and sharing about our day when my son said, in a confidential manner, "Sometimes at recess me and my friends watch the hot girls." I was a bit taken aback, and asked him how he knew which girls were hot. He shrugged uncertainly, then said, "I guess .... the ones who are sweaty."



I agreed quite seriously that that was the best method of determining which girls were hot.

My little cousin [more like my brother] was 2 and I was in the grocery store with him. We got to the cashier and said hello and then he turned to me and goes, "Cole...why is she chocolate?" Well, the cashier and I laughed so hard. I then explained to him that people come in all different colors and shapes and sizes and personalities, but never in a flavor.
It was hilarious.
