Might be crazy to you, But I am going to start Xmas wrapping!!

Took me over 8 hours to organize and wrap last weekend!

I have already wrapped the gifts that arrived from Amazon. I am doing in-person shopping next week, then I will wrap those gifts. The kids are teens but I still have "Santa" paper that I wrap one Santa gift in. I may not put the presents under the tree yet. Our dog might step on one and rip one.

I managed to get the 2 Christmas gifts/1 bday gift that need to be mailed off done today. it's a start.

I don't think that's crazy. I mean, Christmas is practically over already.

I keep a notebook with a running list for each family member--there are 6 of us, plus pets, plus our Silly Santa. If I don't write it down, I'll never remember who's getting what! On the good side, if I wrap the Silly Santa presents early, even I don't know what's what!

As I thought, I didn't get everything done I want to get done. I was able to finish decorating and baked some of my cookies before I had a surprise visit from my DGD2 just back from her Disney vacation. Wrapping will happen a little each night and the rest of the cookies will have to wait until next weekend.

Gonna wrap this week. Well, place gifts in the already decorated gift boxes with tissue paper I just bought on Amazon will happen this week. I need to ship everything this upcoming weekend so I can't put it off any longer.

I already did my shipping--mostly direct to my oldest, she lives 800 miles away. While she'll be home for Christmas, they (her and fiance) really needed a vacuum cleaner. Not only did I find their exact model on a Black Friday sale, it wouldn't have travelled well on the plane back with her.

My kids will be making the cookies this year, since I can't manage it. Even DS27,who's autistic and a total Grinch, volunteered to make a batch. The other two will make what they make what they make, and we'll be fine with it. Spritz cookies, snickerdoodles, and probably every other kind will have some form of chocolate in them.

My wife tends to wrap as she goes along. She’d rather do that then have to wrap a bunch of presents at one time (which is what I end up doing with her presents
