Midway parking?

Where is the best place to park at Midway? We will be driving up from Bloomington. We are leaving May 27 - June 3. Do we need reservations? Any other advice?

I love Midway parking. We use the economy RED lot. You can also use the parking garage in the economy lot. It is located 1 block West of Cicero ave on 55th st. Just pull in, get a ticket, and look for a space near a pick up stand. The buses run every 5 mins, and you will be in the terminal within 5 mins after they pick you up. You don't need reservations. The cost is $12 per day. They take cash or major cerdit cards on your way out. Make sure you put your ticket in the glove box when you first get it, so as not to loose it on your trip. The remote parking at Midway is great.

Another vote here for the new long-term economy garage. It's huge though, so my advice is to write down the details of your car's location on your ticket(maybe park close to the elevators) and then tuck the ticket in a safe place in your carry-on so when you get back you can pull it out and find your car quickly. Also, they have machines in the new garage where you can pay for parking with your credit card before you get to your car so you can just zip on out of there and head back out on I-55!

YES this is the way to go. I park in this lot EVERYTIME i fly out of Midway and leave my car.
