I booked my air through them way back in Feb. at their introductory price of $120.50 rt from PIT to MCO. They have made changes to my schedule 5 times now without ever notifying me. I just happened to notice the changes each time on internet sites. The last change totally did not suit my needs, as this trip is part business, and the times didn't work. After many calls and extremely rude treatment by Midway supervisors (they came right out and called me a liar, when I explained that this schedule change would cause me to miss important meetings), I was finally able to get rule a 240, and they put me on a USAir flight.

Even though in the end, the situation was rectified, I don't think I will ever try Midway again after the hassle they put me through!

That sounds just like most of the major airlines and other second-tier airlines, at one time or another.

Right, I realize they reserve the right to make schedule changes, though I think 5 changes in 2 1/2 months is a little excessive. However, it is also their responsibility to notify passenges of these changes and work with you to help find a solution if the changes don't meet your travel needs. There is also no excuse for the way I was treated by Midway's rude and condescending customer service agents.

Thanks for the heads up. I to booked through Midway in Feb out of Columbus for Sept Granted, it's a few months away, but our flight numbers have changed, and also our times. We leave Columbus 15 minutes earlier, and we leave Mco 35 minute earlier coming back. I called them last night just to veify that everyone got moved over to the new flight number, and lady that took my call was just right down RUDE. Se kept saying well we had a schedule change. That's all good and fine, but all I wanted to know is if all 6 of us were still booked on the same flight. Not a tough question to answer, at least I didn't think so. Oh well what do you want for 99.50 round trip. Hope this isn't a sign of things to come.

OMG! - we are scheduled to fly out of Pittsburgh on Midway Airlines in less than 3 weeks! We were told by a pilot friend that they have some of the newest and nicest planes around. When we booked, the gals on the phone couldn't have been nicer.

Although you were treated rudely, which was totally unacceptable, how were the actual flights?

Is there something we should do to check our flights?

I wasn't thrilled to have to stop in Raleigh/Durham, but for $120 RT, it was worth it.

please advise...

I would second the advice to keep checking Midway's schedule. We booked in Feb. to fly out of Pittsburgh on June 15. So far, they have changed our flight three different times. We booked through expedia and found about the changes through them.

We now have a 1 1/2 hr. layover in Raleigh-Durham rather than the 40 min. one we started with.

I know they have the right to do this, but it's almost becoming a weekly event! Every time we read in the USA Today that Midway is expanding their service, we get ready for another change.

thanks for the advice to call Midway. I did so this afternoon and since we booked about 4 months ago, there haven't been any changes.
I will call right before we leave in 3 weeks to be sure.

Am still waiting to hear from someone who actually flew with them and what they thought of them.

I just read recently that Orlando airport just opened a new wing for Midway.

Leota flew them in feb to our meet of the CCSS ladies and it was fine! Lmasi if you have any problems let me know I am good friends with Dawn the asst cust svc manager here in pit! we used to work together for skyway.......

I've read nothing but positive things about Midway's inflight service, mostly on this board.

They did have a baggage theft problem at Raleigh-Durham, their hub, but the ring (their own baggage handlers) was busted a few months ago.
