Midnight showing of Harry Potter

Is anybody else going to the midnight showing of Harry Potter this evening? I sure am! OMG, I'm so excited I can hardly contain myself! Twelve more hours! I'm supposed to be preparing for finals...and here I am, at the age of 33...shoving my school work aside and going to a movie in the middle of the night! The really sad part is I also have tickets to see it AGAIN tomorrow afternoon! We will be getting home around 3:30am and leaving for the next show at 11:30. But the REALLY sad part is that I'm hijacking my daughter and her best friend and taking them as well (that's right, they're missing a day of school for this!) Their teacher is ok with it, though...she understands Harry Potter. She feels that JK Rowlings is responsible for the literacy of millions of children. So dang it, it's a field trip!

Ok, I admit it...my name is Dakota R, and I'm an addict...a Harry Potter addict. I have no control whatsoever over my addiction. Anybody else around here have this problem?

I've had such an eventful week that I forgot that it opened tomorrow. I'm not going until 6/11. When a definate release date was announced my niece and I made a pact that we'd see it together. (This is the first HP movie she won't be going to see with her best friend.)

To take your daughter to a midnight showing of Harry Potter, hijacking her from school. That is the BEST Memory ever that she will have! It's always cool to do things at midnight (that in itself makes it special) AND to miss school and her mother okays it.

You are the best and you and your daughter will always remember that.

my dad had a chance to go tonight with a local radio station (WHEB) but he passed!! I was so mad at him!

o well...we'll probably see it in the next two weeks when the crowd thins out a little...
