Midlife Crisis????

At what age does this happen? I think that I am going through that right now, everything in my life as I know it is changing and I dont' know that I can handle all the changes that are coming my way, and I really REALLY hate it!

I hate the present, terrified of the futre, trying to forget the past and dont' know where I want to go, or who I want to be and nothing that I have ever done in my life makes one bit of sense as to why I did it or how it got me where I am which is really nowhere.

I cry all the time and don't know what I want geesh, when does it end?

Sorry, just having a melt down and normally you all are pretty good about these sorts of things.

Too much change all at once can be totally overwhelming. I thought a mid-life crisis was when you questioned everything in your life and looked for change. Now I have too much change and feel like I'm just trying to keep my head above the waves. I'm close to the melt-down point too (just had cancer surgery, new boss and vp at work after 22 years, best friend/roommate moving across the country after 20 years).
It's good to be able to come here and vent.

Sounds like a little depression/anxiety to me. You may want to talk to someone professionally.

I had cancer, it bites, but positive attitude helps.
