Middle of the World

I vaguely remember reading that there is a marker, I think in Epcot, that indicates the middle of WDW. We forgot to look for it last trip, so next time we go I'd like to be prepared. Where and what is it? Thanks!

I believe it's been "rumored" to be in Epcot, Future World outside of the Land,
between the Living Seas and Honey I Shrunk the Audience. Look on the ground for a large compass with quotes. Again, I've read some places that this actually is not the center of WDW, but it's fun to see just the same.

A few years ago we took the behind the scenes tour of FW. The compass was shown and explained to us. I don't recall that being said about it. But really don't remember anything to surprising about that compass anyway. It's just most people walk over it and don't pay attention to it.
If I recall correctly, DL has a spike it in the floor of it's castle showing where the center of DL USE to be. I don't recall a marker in WDW. But I could be wrong.
It will be interesting to hear from someone more in the know than myself on this.
