11/10-16 or 12/1-7 Which week do you think will likely have better/lower crowds?

I think the crowds will be pretty close-I would give a nod to 12/1-7 because all the Christmas decorations will be up,Holidays Around The World will be going, etc.

I agree crowds will be close. The November dates will see an uptick due to Veteran's Day on 11/11 and may overlap with Jersey Week - something to look into because Jersey week is often blacked out for discounts. The December dates may overlap with Pop Warner which is only a concern if you're staying in a moderate or value.

Weather may be a touch cooler in December - we were there late November and it was cool. You will have the guarantee of all Christmas decor up in December, and will also get to experience Candlelight Processional which starts after Thanksgiving. I'd probably go in December.

NJ teachers' convention is November 5th and 6th in 2015 (always first Thurs and Fri)

If you can change your week to the week before Thanksgiving it's a great week. We have been that week many times. The blue numbers are the crowd level predictions. Thanks to Josh at easywdw.com :)

If your looking solely at crowd levels, I would recommend mid-November. Over the last several years, the peaceful first week of December is not there anymore. It's not summer or holiday crowd levels but we have noticed that more people are now visiting at this time.

Now that all being said, we really like that first week of December so we can get into the full holiday spirit. Enjoying the decorations, Candlelight Processional, and the MVMCP.

Weather varies from year to year but you will normally see it fairly nice during the day and only needing a light jacket at night if your from the south. Northerners are still running around in their shorts and flip-flops like it's mid-summer. :tiptoe: A couple of years ago it was down around freezing the entire week and then it was back to shorts the next week.

Either way you can't go wrong. Your going to WDW!

We love the week before Thanksgiving, if that's a possibility for you! It actually got in the 40's last year during that time (brrrrr) but they day we were checking out people were in the pool again and the sun was out!
