Mid/Late July crowds?

I'm going to be at MK for a one day visit on July 21, and have mapped out a strategy including an 8:05AM PS at Crystal Palace to jump start my day. Anyone have any observations on potential crowds that time of the month? I'm counting on being able to hit 4-5 "priority" attractions early in the day, then using FP and sticking to a slower pace, until after dinnertime, hoping for two or three hours of manageable lines in TL, until closing. What say you?

Expect BIG crowds, alot of heat too! But hey...it's WDW!

I think your plan is the best way to do the park. I am always so surprised to see how many people don't have the will to get up erly in order to tackle the most attractions possible....wish I had it in me to sleep in, but I just can't.

We usually stay in the parks for the whole day instaed of going back to the hotel for a dip in the pool. But what we usually do is take it more slowly in the PM and try to have a long lunch and do the air conditioned attractions in the PM. Once we call it a day, we go to the hotel and swim.

Well, this is a case of my taking advantage of an opportunity to get my annual Disney fix since my wife is not keen on going back this year (we've been in December the past two years, and she is about Disneyed out.). We'll be at the beach that week, on the W. coast of FL (St. Pete area) and I'm planning on leaving at 5AM, with 7YO daughter in tow, both to miss the Tampa traffic, and to get to WDW no later than 7AM, hopefully sooner. We have a "room only" at the AS/Movies for that night, but need to stop by Registration to get "pre registered" and get our parking placard. Hopefully at that early hour, we can get that done quickly and be at MK by 7:45, for "early entry" for our 8:05 CP PS. I originally planned to have breakfast at Chef Mickey's, but decided that by going to CP, I could get a jump on the crowd, so that is what we are going to do. With any luck, we should be able to get in 4-5 high priority attractions before the lines get too long. We'll FP the rest of the day, and wait for the faint of heart to leave after dinner and then tackle what we missed earlier in the day, if the lines dissipate as I expect. We'll see.
