Microwave requests?

Has anyone had success getting a microwave in their room? (for rooms where they are not standard). I added it to my touring plans room request but I am skeptical.

You will have to request a microwave once you get to your resort room. I don't know the success rate. What resort you are in?

The room request won't work for amenities, just room locations and types. Those have to be requested when you arrive.

Coronado Springs. Standard room, not Gran Destino. Yeah, my plan was that of its not there when I arrive I'll request one through the chat.

It might be faster to hit the Housekeeping button on your room phone once you are in the room. I always call housekeeping for extra coffee the minute I arrive in the room.

MOST resorts do not offer microwave. They are in the food court
HK will only bring something like that once YOU are in room. If something happens with room, they don't want to move it to your new room.

I requested a microwave at check-in for many of my hotel stays before I was vaccinated . I just explained that I was avoiding restaurants due to Covid and always got one. This was at Pop Century and Caribbean Beach before they returned the microwaves to the food courts.
