That's exactly what I told John. Depending on what kind of extra time we have on our hands, we may just take the boat from DTD to POR just to check it out.

Thanks! We are very happy too!! This morning he felt a little wonky playing baseball from the heat and the bright sun. I came prepared with bottles of water frozen and un-frozen. After drinking and holding the frozen water bottle to the back of his neck he felt much better. And no seizures from it!! (A retired major league ball player taught us about the back of the neck cooling years ago.)

Be sure John is hydrated before you get to FL. It's very hot and humid now and your trip is still a few weeks away, should be a little hotter by then.

Though I'm glad you are staying an extra day in Disney and got a good room price, I'm sad you won't get to try a new resort.

Welcome! I had mosquitos flying all around me this weekend when we were outside almost all day long. Darn things!

It must be tough for family's of five to find budget friendly resorts.

I'd definitely suggest the CBR for you and the hubby. It's so pretty and has such a laid back feel to it.

Heck no...who can refuse an extra day in Disney? Certainly not I!

Yeah for John wanting to add a day and for saying he will just act suprised....

At least your hubby listens.....mine tunes me out....which allowed me to book 10 night...

He is such a goofy guy...act like he's surprised when he gets to Disney.

John usually tunes me out too when it comes to talking about Disney. That's why I have to catch him when he's semi paying attention. That way, I can honestly say....I talked toyou about that.

Lisa I have not been on the DIS for a couple of weeks...life gets in the way sometimes. Anyway first thing I did was catch up on your PTR and wow you lucky girl you are going to be in Disney for almost 2 weeks...I am so jealous. And it is so soon...have you started packing yet? Well I know you will have a great time and I so look forward to hearing about the cruise as that is on my "Bucket List". My prayers go out to your aunt and to your mama.

Don't I know it! I am so excited about being in Disney for so long. I think back on our first trips to Disney and can't imagine what we were thinking when we thought just a few days would be plenty enough.

Too bad about POR, I know you would have enjoyed it, but more time and better price trumps all!

We've stop by POR last trip just to take the boats to Downtown Disney, and we're planning on it again.

Well, I credit the wonderful hubbies to our fantastic choices in men.

I just couldn't see paying $203 for a room at POR when I could get a cheaper room at the CBR. Who could pass up a $130 room at a moderate? Not me!

Oh my gosh!! I just discovered you had a PTR going and you are already on page 26!! How did I come so late to the party??? Anway, better late than never, I'm in.

I can't believe how well Anakin is doing. Actually, I can 'cause I've been praying for him along with all of the others on my prayer list.

Staying hydrated is one of John's top priorities. The building he works in does not have air conditioning, just big fans, so he has to make sure that he takes cold water with him to work.

I thought that $130 a night wasn't that bad especially considering our stay falls over the Memorial Day holiday, Star Wars weekends and Summer.

I have missed AK something fierce, which day is your ak day? Don't forget I'm in a chair, so shows and stuff we get decent seats!! I'll pm you my phone #, so we can hook up. Can't wait to meet you guys, your little family reminds me so much of mine!! Hunter and Tyler will hit it off, and I have a feeling John and Chris will get along too. Open Mouth and Insert Foot
For a woman who drove 15 hours across Mississippi, Alabama and Florida and kept the secret from her son that we were surprising him with a trip to Walt Disney World until we were about 20 miles away, I sure have lost my touch.

I've already had to "out" the surprise that we were staying at Port Orleans Riverside. Now I've gone and blown the whole surprise that Lacey and Jesse were staying at the Caribbean Beach Resort the whole time.

It all started out as an innocent conversation about how John a/k/a Mr. I Don't Go Shopping Unless I Absolutely Have To, didn't want to go back to the mall to find more shorts for the trip. Wait, I should have told you how I wrangled him into the conversation in the first place should I?

Remember that big job that I told ya'll that John got? Over the weekend, John was cutting out the cabinets and I was putting the primer on them. It was a sweltering 90+ degrees outside and I was painting in the shade of the old oak tree in our yard. (Like the shade did a lot of good....I was sweating like a pig. ) John came out to take a break, got a cup of coffee and was sitting on the swing while I was rolling on the primer. Gotta know when to start these conversations.

So, John was sitting in the swing and the conversation goes a little something like this:

Me: While you were cutting out the shelves this morning, I went through my clothes and have them all paired up and ready to be packed.

John: That's good. You missed a spot.

Me: I'm going to go back over it so hush about the missed spot. I know that you don't want to go back to the mall and buy any more clothes so, while I was lying in bed last night, trying to fall back asleep, I thought why can't we just do laundry when we get back to Caribbean Beach the night of our cruise.

John: That'll work. Don't forget the ends.

Me: I'll get to the ends. That's the day we'll be in EPCOT and Lacey and Jesse are driving down. We'll want to spend some time with them that evening so sitting by the pool and doing laundry will accomplish both things. I can also help Lacey get things settled in if I need to.

John: That sounds good.

John: Wait a minute? How are you going to help Lacey get things settled in if they are at Pop Centry?

Me: Huh? (In my mind: How do I fix this? He knows something's up. Gosh darn it! Think! Think! The gig is up Lisa. Spill the beans.) Well, it was going to be a surprise but I moved them over to Caribbean Beach the first night. SURPRISE!

John: Sweetie Britches, you know you can't surprise this old fart. Laundry and visitin'. Sounds like a plan. I'm going back to the shop to cut out some more shelves.
