Hey! I'm joining you over here too! I can't wait to meet ya'll this December! We'll be at Pop too enjoying the free dining! We were orginally booked for 7 nights in the Ft Wilderness cabins ($159 per night) but once free dining was announced I switched to Pop for 14 nights. It was about the same price for twice the vacation with food! We definitely wanted to stay longer than 7 nights and the cabin was not on sale except for those 7 nights! Thanks goodness the code came out!

The cruise sounds like a blast! I've been looking into them as well. I need to get our passports in order so when a deal comes up we can take advantage of it.

You know I'm proud of the contract agreement! I would so do that myself! You go girl!

Thanks Tammy! 14 nights with free dining is a much better deal than 7 nights in the cabin. We so love POP. We figure as long as we don't know what we're missing and love the value resorts we'll stick with them. We'd rather spend our extra money on things like a bonus cruise!

Wow, I'm so sorry I disappeared this month. I returned to teaching mid-August after taking five years off as a stay-at-home mom. My first six weeks of teaching will be full time then on Sept. 29th my co-teacher returns and I'll get to go part time which is what I wanted. I knew the first 6 weeks would be crazy busy but they are even more so than I thought. Much of it is my ambitious personality that takes a passion and makes it a 24-7 hour endeavor. Traveling and Disney had turned into my passion while I was not working but that has had to take a back seat to the 24 precious 5th graders who are relying on me for both their education and happiness throughout the day.

I still am super excited for our upcoming trip. In fact, on the days I am completely exhausted and have worked over 12 hours I think of our vacation with tremendous anticipation.

DD5 started Kindergarten and I am lucky enough to teach in the same school. I get to go out and give her big hugs during lunch recess. DD8's classroom is just a few doors down.

I have some exciting dates coming up!!! Sept. 5th is 100 DAYS until our trip!!!! September 13th (I think) is the day we can make our dining reservations. December 18th (I think) reservations for our cruise such as dining with Palo.

Our final payment for the cruise will need to be paid next week as well. I suppose I should write that all down before Monday comes around and I get sucked back into the whirlwind week again.

I will post our dining reservations and planned itinerary once I make the dining reservations. It's a good thing I did most of that over the summer. Now, where did I put that?

Stick around, I will have a TR! I plan to do most of it during the two weeks I'll have off during Christmas break.

Well, It's Labor Day weekend and I've been gifted with a cold. However, it has allowed me time to relax and go back into Disney mode since there is not much more I have energy for. We get to make our ADRs next Sat!!!

Today I finalized plans I've been working on so I know what ADRs I want. I've never done the online ADR system but am excited to try. I was super disappointed to hear that they just changed the Candelight Processional dinner package to two credits. With us only getting 6 dinner credits before the cruise I cannot justify two credits. So I guess we will stand in line with the rest and hope for the best. I hope it's worth it. I'm worried I might be the only one who really enjoys this in our family. The dining package would have made it easier to get everyone else on board.

So as of today this is my intinerary with the ADRs I hope to get.

Friday 11 - Arrive super late 9:40 p.m.

Sat. 12 - Magic Kingdom
Chef Mickey's late breakfast
(Spec. and Wishes)
(maybe DAP at HS in late evening)

Sun. 13 - EPCOT
Tepan Edo dinner
(CP and Illum.)

Mon. 14 - Hollywood Studios
Mama's Melrose (Fant. pkg)

Tues 15 - MK or AK
breakfast at Ohana's or Tusker House
Whispering Canyon for dinner.
Ft. Wilderness in evening (campfire, golf cart, watch fireworks and
electrical parade from beach)

Wed 16 - EPCOT
1900 Park Fare dinner
(maybe watch wishes from Poly or GF beach)

Thurs 17-Sun 20 - CRUISE

Sun 20 - MK
first DTD and T-REX early lunch
wade through the terrible crowds to try to see Christmas parade,
shows, and fireworks

Mon 21 - fly home super early, flight leaves at 6:50 (gave us an
extra day of fun in Orlando so should be worth it).

I am getting super excited!

We'll be at WDW the same time (Dec 10-15 here)..no cruise sadly as this is a short xmas trip for us!!

We too might be doing Ohana on Tues the 15th for breakfast!!

I can make my ADRs on Friday for one day and then Sat for the rest since we have a split stay at YC and WL or maybe I'll call and beg on Friday to do everything at once!!

We were also upset with the CLP dinner packages and are booking lunches and paying OOP for it instead of wasting a DDP for it sad isnt it!?

Can't wait for more!

What a great stay you will have at WL!! I've heard it decorates the best out of all the resorts for Christmas. I can't wait to see it when we dine at WC.

I've decided to change the day we attend CP to Wednesday our last day and try to do the 5 p.m. show. I'm hoping by going in the middle of the week and to an early show it will be less of a wait.

Yes, time flies by WAY to fast. We did CM our first trip but not last year. The girls have really been asking for it. I wasn't very impressed with the food but the character interaction was great.

Well I just called to see if we could make our T-Rex reservations already by phone and yes we could, and we did! I scheduled their earliest lunch for the Sunday we disembark the Wonder. We plan to stop by DTD, T-Rex, then visit MK Christmas parade and fireworks! One reservation down, now 6 more on Sat!

Cant WAIT to read your TR!!! We are going to WDW in Dec 2010 and then cruising right after. Our dates will be Dec 12-19. So, pretty much identical to you! You will be my source of inspiration. Can't wait!
