I've been gone to Mexico for a week and I'm happy to see that I didn't miss too much!
Congrats on getting all of your Christmas presents bought! I have NOTHING! I'm sure that I'll be buying things on Christmas Eve.

This time next month we will pick up our rental car and head out to Port Canaveral to board the Disney Wonder!

Before leaving port we will no doubt be celebrating like this at the Adventures Away party.

Since this is all new I'm not sure what all this day will entail. We will dine at one of their amazing restaurants for dinner, go to the show, and take it all in. It would be great if it was even warm enough for the girls to take advantage of the Mickey slide while still in port. We'll see.

This time next month the Disney Wonder will be docked in Nassau.

We plan to stay on the ship for most of the day. We do have one 2-hour excursion scheduled in the afternoon. We will be going on a Glass Bottom Boat Tour.

We will get to view landmarks and celebrity homes seaside!

Since I'm the only one in our family that will snorkle it's a great way for us to see the fish of the Carribean!

This night on the ship it will be pirate night and fireworks! Can't wait.

Hey!! Your plans look PERFECT for your Nassau day. I was doing some research yesterday (reading disney books, disboards DCL, etc) and most people say that Nassau is pretty boring. Atlantis seems to be neat, but almost everyone puts that they would not go to it again...not worth the money. Others got lost and confused in the city trying to do their own thing. I love the idea of a glassbottom boat and home site seeing!! That is right up our alley (especially since we own a real estate company ) You will get great pics of Atlantis too!! The boat just seems like so much fun...there is no need to get off of it for too long!! Cant wait to see pics from your day

I checked my emails this morning and saw they are offering 30% off and free shipping today. Although it looks like the 30% off is just on "deal of the day" merchandise so I think we still came out ahead.

It is super exciting to actually be this close. This trip has been in the works for 15 months and now we are just one month away!

Well, I had a long day and stayed late to finish up all the parent-teacher conferences. But I came home to exciting arrivals. Our cruise documents arrived via UPS. There was also a letter in the mail from DCL. Apparently they are "making exciting changes within their Youth Activities program" on the Wonder. They have removed the age restriction so children can select their own adventures regardless of age! This is so exciting to us. I was unsure if the girls would take to the kids clubs at all because they were going to be seperated. Now, they can pick activities together and DH and I do not have to worry about them being isolated or unhappy by themselves. This is absolutly wonderful. Just in time for our cruise!

Actually my husband didn't go with me. I took my DD18 with me and went and stayed with my DSIL place with her and her family for 3 days, and then the family left except for the 3 of us girls for 4 days. It was SO awesome! Thanks for asking.
It looks like you are getting so close. The pictures you have been sharing (this time next month...) have been GREAT! I can't believe that it's almost here for you. I can remember you just starting to plan this vacation. My how time flies. Is that the right spelling for flies?

Well can you believe it? This time next month it will already be time to disembark. I'm sure about this time we will be regretting changing our 4 day to a 3 day cruise. However, we will remind ourselves that by doing it was got more days of fun and dining in WDW as well as got to have the cruise at the end of our trip. I'm going to try to convince DH to rebook a 2011 Cruise on the new Disney Dream ship while on board. You get 10% off, 1/2 deposit, and on board credit if you book on board.

So we will sadly disembark the Disney Wonder and say goodbye to Captain Mickey.

Originally we would have headed straight to the airport but we now have a BONUS DAY! We have PLAN A and PLAN B for this day.

PLAN A

Pick up our rental car and drive to DTD. It takes a little over an hour.

We have lunch reservations at T-REX. We've never been but we love Rain Forest Cafe so I'm sure we'll love T-REX.

After exploring DTD for some time (and hopefully getting a chance to see Santa), we will head to POP Century to check in. At this point we will ask for any room that is ready. (It should be around 2 p.m.) If a room is available we plan to check in and take a nap. We want energy for this evening.

Ooops, I'll come back to post the rest of this day later. Have to get ready for Faith's parent teacher conference.

Yes, I can't believe on Black Friday we will have only two weeks left.

Continuing with Plan A:

After DTD and T-Rex Cafe we will head to POP Century. If we are able to get a room and are tired we will take a nap and get energized for our evening.

After a 2-3 hour nap we will get up and drive our rental to Fort Wilderness. We have a golf cart reserved to go looping and check out all the decorated camp sights. But first, we plan to go to the Chip and Dale Sing-a-long to sing and roast marshmellows!

After cruising in our golf cart and attending the singalong we will cruise out to the beach to watch the fireworks at about 10 pm. Then we will cruise back to our rental and drive to MK. There is EMH this night until 2 a.m. It is not our plan to stay until 2 a.m. but we are hoping the park clears out a little after the fireworks so we can enjoy our last evening in the MK!

PLAN B is pretty much the same except we would not nap and would probably skip late night at the MK!
