So the park technically closes at 4pm on the nights the party is happening?

No, the park will closed at the published closing time. But if you have MVMCP tickets you can enter the MK around 4 without using a day on your park pass if you were not in a park that day, or without having to worry about having a hopper if you were at another park that day.

Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party what exactly is it. :confused3 What I read made it sound like a parade and snow...is it more than that?

We are hoping to pick up the tickets to go as well. It sounds like alot of fun!:thumbsup2

Last year the park didn't officially close until 7p so if you're going to the party be sure you get there well before then and avoid main street! Last year it was packed around that time with people trying to leave, more people coming in, and others getting a spot for a parade - chaos! Basically party people get a wristband when you enter so if you don't have one you won't be allowed on any rides and such and politely told you'll need to leave. It takes a while to get things cleared up but I think by 7:30-8p it was pretty well set and we had a great time. We also opted to keep our son up for the later parade and it worked out great - we didn't have to stake out a spot until about 30 min in advance. It was a little chilly though so be prepared!

It is extra but well worth it! The kids loved it. SOme of their favorites included the awesome parade, snow, and of course the hot cocoa and cookies;)

Do all 4 parks have a Christmas Celebrations? Do the all cost extra $$?

TIA

It's great - MK is decorated for the holidays - it is incredible. The lights, snow and hot chocolate really gets everyone in the festive mood. My favorite MVMCP spot is Liberty Square with the Liberty Square Carolers.

Hollywood Studios' Osborne Family Lights is amazing! MUST SEE!!
