We will be there in November when it first opens up on the 13th. Is there a limit to the number of tickets sold? Do you think it will be sold out before the actual date? If we decide we want to go that Monday, do you think we can just walk up and pay at the door to get in? If I buy tickets ahead of time can we get a refund if we decide not to go? Just looking for your thoughts. Thanks.

The tickets to Mickey's Party are non refundable -
and limited to park capacity for any given dates.

the tickets to the MVMCP do sell out frequently, although it is possible that there will be aday when it won't sell out and you may be able to purchase tickets at the door. you can also purchase tickets from a disney resort ahead of time on the day of.

But, the party is worth the extra money. :thumbsup2

It is very nice to see everything there, the shows, ect.

i was told by the CM the other night when I made my reservation for MVMCP that the tickets are paper tickets and will come in the mail. I was given a separate confirmation number from the dining ressie that I put with it, and was told to make sure I brought the tickets with me.

The CM told me three times that the tickets are non-refundable...they must have had some major issues with this in the past.

Good luck! Have a magical Holiday!

We're doing it the next week. . . I think it's November 17? Does that sound right? It's a Friday night. I am SO excited. . . it's our first time!

We received our tickets and they are hard plastic not paper.
They are stamped..Valid only on... and must be signed. They have my last name on them! (guess our friends better enter with me!)

Yes, we are there 11-18. We were thinking the 13th because the 17th we have later reservations in Epcot. The 13th seems to be the first one of the season. I'm a bit torn on this.

I would think the earlier MVMCP's will not be sold out, JMO.

That's kind of what I was thinking too.

Thanks everyone for the responses so far.

We went ahead and bought tickets for the "opening night". Nov. 13. It should be fun.

Do you need to pay for the theme park ticket as well as the party ticket?

Regular theme park admission is not valid for the parties. If you want to visit a park the same day as the party you will need to use a day of your regular admission ticket. In years past they have allowed guests to enter MK as early as 4PM with the party ticket only. Other options are if you have the plus options with your ticket to go to a water park or Disneyquest instead of using a days' admission to get into a park earlier in the day. Or spend the day shopping at the Marketplace or visitsome of the other resorts. If you have an annual pass this isn't an issue.

No, we had to pay for the party admission separately. No need to buy the theme park ticket to enter.
