Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party Question

Our family of six and another family of six will arrive at MCO at 6:37 PM. We are staying at Fort Wilderness Resort and we are doing Magical Express. Do you think that we could do Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party which runs from 7:00 to 12:00? This is the only day that MVMCP is availible on our trip. Any feedback would be greatly appreciated!!!

Best case scenario - you might get to your resort by 7:30. THEN you have to check-in, go to your room, drop off carry-ons, then wait for a bus to the Magic Kingdom. If you want to take the chance, I would NOT buy the tickets in advance, because your plane could be delayed. Better to pay an extra $6 per person at the gate than to be out $42 per person because you couldn't go.

But you don't have to go to your room for magical express, right? And at Fort Wilderness it takes about 7 minutes to get to the Magic Kingdom (boat ride)

You would prefer to check-in after midnight? I suppose you could go straight to the MK - but you might have a 15-20 minute wait for a boat. I personally wouldn't buy a ticket in advance under those circumstances - but that's just my opinion.

NancyIL is right. You'd really be rolling the dice by purchasing in advance. Saving $6 isn't worth putting that much faith in the airline industry.

Yes, it could - but less likely if it's a weeknight.
