Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party....Is it Worth the $$ ????

We went last year and did not like it - we thought it was a waste of money and time. Here is why:

It was cold during our visit (hats, gloves and coats cold with WIND). During the day it was ok, but at night it was miserable.

So, the kids were tired (they are used to early mornings, not late nights), COLD, and it was crowded. We saw one show, got some coco and cookies, road Buzz lightyear twice and saw part of a parade over the tops of heads - all for about $150. We also "wasted" our good morning time by sleeping in (trying to keep the kids from being too tired that night). I will never do the party again.

As far as the kids, my oldest enjoyed what they could see of the parade. My youngest said , "It's fun, but I'm cold and tired and I want to go back to the hotel." - which we did.

My family and I go every year. Weve been going for the past 10 years.

(although we're christmas fanatics)

We love the ambience. The snow on main street, the music, the fact that its night time, and usually cold. Love the characters with all of their scarves on. Love the parade (its pretty long) Love the free hot chocolate and cookies, love the free picture.

Some of my most favorite Disney memories involve MVMCP.

I would say everyone should go at least once and see if its for you!!

PS - Beware of the GINGERBREAD MEN AND CLOWNS!!! :rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl2:
