Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party~~December 7th

Our family of 6 is eagerly looking forward to Christmas with Mickey! We will be in Disney World from December 5 - December 12, staying off site. We picked this date because it was early enough into our trip that the kids shouldn't be too exhausted yet, but we are hoping for lighter crowds than the Dec. 5 date would have. We went to MNSSHP last year and had so much fun that we just had to return for MVMCP! Who else is going??

My family of 4 will be attending on this night. We will also be eating at Liberty Tree Tavern at 5:10. This will be our first day in the parks. Th eevent will a suprise for my kids. Can't wait to come home. We will be in the World form Dec. 6th-11th.

NO MVMCP on this date.

Not 100% sure but the 7th is the most likely date that we will be at MVMCP. It is a Sun. so it shouldnt be as crowded as Fri. or Sat. We will be at WDW from the Dec. 2-9. Last year was our first MVMCP and we loved it. Cant wait til this Dec. See yall there!

Cluadia Kellenberger Where did you get info that there isnt a MVMCP on this date. I have seen it several places and all the dates are the same. Check with the post at top of this page titled
MVMCP central. The dates are posted there. Not doubting you, just wondered where you got that info. so the rest of us can plan accordingly.

I already have my tickets in hand for the 7th. When the dates first came out the 7th was not one of them, but within a few weeks that date was added.

We are also eating at LTT that night at 7:40pm.

The official Disney World site still does
NOT list Dec 7th as a date for MVMCP.

I just checked it again Friday evening,
July 18th.

When you go to the list to actually order these tickets, December 7th is missing.

I would have ordered a ticket for the 7th if it was there...the 7th was my first choice, instead I had to order the 9th, my second choice.

Claudia - Sorry you didn't know about the December 7th date when you ordered. There were two "missing" dates when the word first appeared on the internet. I don't remember what the other one was, but as I was counting on 12/7, I do remember wondering what was going on because the announced dates didn't match the historical pattern. Anyway, when I called and asked, 12/7 was available. Soon after that, the MVMCP dates on WDWIG and the DIS were corrected to add the two "missing" dates. I never checked the official site.

I also have tickets for 12/7 in hand. If you still would rather go on 12/7, maybe it would be worth a call to Disney. I'm thinking that if you explained it to them, they might let you exchange your 12/9 tickets for 12/7 tickets. FWIW, I think 12/9 will be a good day to go, too. We've been on Tuesdays in the past, and they didn't seem too crowded to us.

I'm kind of glad that 12/7 isn't showing on the official site - maybe that means 12/7 won't be as crowded as some of the other choices. That's selfish of me, of course. And eventually, I'm sure Disney will fix it's mistake! Most people don't buy there MVMCP tickets until a lot closer to the actual date.

This will be our 1st MVMCP and I'm so excited. It will be my husband and myself. We're staying at the Boardwalk Villas and are also having dinner at LTT at 5:10 ! I didn't realize until I called to make our res that it's a Character dinner. Which characters will be there?

We're there. This will be my third MVMCP, but the first for my traveling companions. We arrive 12-3-03 for a week at Port Orleans Riverside, Also plan to do CP and Yuletide Tour. See you all there. LSW

My husband & I will also be there the night of the 7th. It's our first MVMCP. We have 6:00 PS for the Liberty Tree Tavern. We're only going to be down there from the 5th to the 8th, so I got him to agree to the party because we're so limited on time. Last year, we were there for 12 days and didn't do the party.

GOING ON THE 7TH FOR THE FIRST TIME TO THE MVMCP. WE'RE BRING OUR GRANDSON FOR HIS FIRST VISIT TO DISNEY. CAN'T WAIT!

Claudia they will let you change your ticket for another date. I bought our MNSSHP tickets as soon as they went on sale for 10/10 but then our dates ended up changing and I needed tickets then for 10/5. I was told to write a note stating our dates had changed and what new date I needed and to mail in my old tickets. I did all that and then rec'd new tickets for 10/5. Disney was great about and it and I didnt have any problems at all.

Good idea! I'll try to remember to bring some lime green ribbon along to the party, too. It would be fun to run into other DISr's while we're there.

We're going Dec. 7 also. Originally wanted to go on Walt Disney's birthday on Dec. 5 but was told by guest relations that it would probably be more crowded with Floridians.

We have a PS at CRT that night for dinner - praying Cindy makes her usual unscheduled appearance for that $$$ dinner . Then - off to the partay!
