That is wonderful that you are teaching classes. I wish that I could make more of those PPP days. I worked yesterday, too, in NICU, in Pod G. These 12 hour nights are really hard on me to show up on the weekend. Have a wonderful day at Peter Pan. I can meet you where ever you will be at WDW, too. I can work around your plans.

Sincerely, Ray

Sounds good! We are there Nov 29- Dec 6 at the GF and doing MVMCP on 12/1. Tenatively planning MK on 11/30, 12/1, MGM (am)/DTD (pm) on 12/2, Epcot 12/3. I know you'll be cruising after that! :boat: We'll definitely meet up then, if I don't bring the kids down to Northside before then for a visit!

Anybody heard when the dinner packages will be open for bookings? I want to book LeCellier for Dec 17 and we are doing MVMCP on the 18th.

Are you talking about the Candlelight Processional? No word yet. They went on sale in September last year.

Thanks! I'm sure first word will come on this thread. People here are really in the know.

OK everyone ..... When is the earliest that WDW announces the guest narrator listing? Heading to EPCOT on December 16th or 17th.

Except for last year, the narrators always came out AFTER the package went on sale (October). Last year, we knew the narrators a couple of week (mid-August) before the packages went on sale. The packages went on sale in September.

It makes sense for Disney to announce the narrators before the CP dinner pkgs go on sale. Fewer calls to make changes. Now if they could just announce park hours before the 90 day AR window opens up, the CMs at WDW-DINE would be bored! :rolleyes1

I agree but Disney doesn't always make sense. Hopefully the narrators will come out before the packages do.

How much are the CP packages? Is LeCellier a choice? Do you eat off a fixed price menu? Any info or links would be appreciated. Oh, and do you think 3 five year olds will sit through it, or should we skip it?

AllEars has a ton of info on last year's CP packages here....
http://www.allearsnet.com/tp/h_cpfaq.htm

We're going in Dec and I have no qualms about our DD5 sitting through it. It's DS2 that concerns me. Our plan is to eat before the 6:45 show so everyone is happy (i.e. not hungry). Plus, the dinner pkg helps avoid the sometimes long lines, esp for the later shows.

It's my understanding you can order one appetizer, entree and dessert. So if you look at LeCellier and like the most expensive things, you'll probably come out ahead by doing the CP dinner pkg.

Will we be able to get 20% off these dinner packages with DDE?

The past two years, there was not a discount with the packages with DDE.

:cool1: :cool1: We got our tickets, we got our tickets. :cool1: :cool1:

DH was totally surprised at how fast they got here. He called me at work to tell me that the tickets came in the mail today. Now I have to decided if we want to book somewhere for dinner that night or just eat at the resort.

Question, does anyone know if the turkey leg stand will be open prior or during MVMCP? Thanks!

From 4:00p to 6:00p and then AFTER 7:00p the Frontierland Turkey Legs were open last year. Everything closes from 6:00p to 7:00p to clear out the park except of course the sit downs and Cosmic Rays.

I'm not a big turkey leg fan, but since it is in Tomorrowland, is the Lunching Pad open from 6-7?

why do they stop this so soon? We arrive 12/23 and don't get to see this??

Because after December 20, the stuff that goes on during MVMCP happens during the day! The daytime parade is replaced by the Christmas parade. The shows are shown during the day.

The MVMCP parade becomes the daily parade at MK after MVMCP ends (12/20). So you'll see that. And I think most or all of the Christmas shows/events also run during the time you're there.

beattyfamily, you've turned me into a monster filled with your knowledge. We're now simultaneously posting the same info. (and I've never been to a single MVMCP yet... but I did stay at a Holiday Inn Express last night) :rotfl:
