Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party 2014 - Have Yourself a Very Mickey Christmas!

Just noticed you made this thread with more info and plans! Definitely making a plan with yours as a reference :) I'm so excited! We leave on dec 12th for our honeymoon, that's all I've been talking about lately lol. I need to find some cute outfits for the party too! Thanks so much for posting this :santa:

campbellzSoup, I think I made a rough plan, I need more tips! We will probably start at this order 7 dwarfs (line up an hr before the party), minnie, ducks, pooh then the princesses. Get a spot for parade and fireworks. Maybe meet santa or goofy after that. Everything else maybe on day 2? Lol, I'm super anxious!

What gives it away I'm the red one too much smiling lol :goodvibes

No such thing as too much smiling, but yes, the look on your face had me guessing red too! :good vibes

Also the look on your face matches your enthusiasm and overall positivity throughout your posts.

Great review of what must have been an amazing and magical time for you two!

Thanks for sharing your insight and pictures.

Sounds perfect to me I think in one day! Do it all I bet you can get it done and then some when I come home I'll map out for you ;)

Love your review ! Thanks !
Where were the Seven Dwarfs ? What's the earliest you can get in line ?
Glad you had a great time !:santa:

Ok I'm home!

Here's what you're gonna do!

Enter the park at four, use your fast passes so you feel like you got some value in before the start of the party. I would suggest something that usually has a LONG wait time! ok!

It should be around 6:15 now...start your wait for the Dwarfs lol - around 6:30/6:45 the cast members will actually allow you to get some cocoa & cookies so this should keep you occupied until the Dwarfs finally show up at 7 pm.

Next stop is to go get the three characters in the circle by storybook cirucus START with Goofy. His line is the shortest.

Next, head to Minnie as she is the second shortest line - then the Ducks...you can get all three in an....hour time frame?

Ok! Next go see the Castle Show & get a good seat for the fireworks you can NOT MISS THIS - it's amazing.

Then go to mainstreet and get a good spot for the parade *by the train station trust me*. After the parade go to Santa RIGHT AWAY.

FINALLY runnnnn back to Fantasy Land and get inline for the Pooh characters before they go away. Afterwards try to get a ride or two in!

Great review! Our problem recently has been seeing the Celebrate the Memories show. They pack you in so tight that the kids can't see. It's only shown once on party nights, right? Any advice on a good spot for the kids? I thought the train platform. Also, does the parade start in Frontierland for the first parade then start on Main Street for the 2nd? Thanks!

Is celebrate the seasons show the stage show with Mickey Mouse and friends where he buys her the gift? I think they put it on at least 4 times a night the one at 11:25 was a ghost town and we had a great spot

Thanks so much for the report! We're going to two MVMCPs this year--Sunday/Tuesday. We love the parties, and dislike fastpass+, so not having to deal with so much planning is going to be nice.

Anyway, we couldn't get a fastpass for 7D Mine Ride. Was the line long all night for it during the party?

Thanks again!

That's the only ride with a consistent hour wait to fourty minutes no matter how many times we passed by it...I would suggest if you enter at four to just grab your three alloted fast passes....planning three rides isn't "so much planning" and extended the value of the ticket for sure

If you are talking about Celebrate the Season, the castle stage show with Mickey, Minnie, Chip, Dale, Goofy, and friends, it's performed three times on party nights: 7:30pm, 10:05pm, and 11:20pm. I'm hoping to grab a good spot after fireworks to see it and the second parade.

Has anyone who attended the party noticed if there is wheelchair viewing for the Frozen Holiday Wish show or Wishes fireworks? I am taking my 87yo mom because she wants to see all of the Christmas shows and decorations. I normally take her during the summer. She can never see the fireworks because people crowd around her wheelchair and block her view. All she's sees are butts and backs:) I'm hoping there will be wheelchair viewing so she can finally have a better view;)

Of course there is!

Disney makes sure people with special needs feel special for the day!

Can you get multiple treats (cookies, apples, cocoa) at one time or do they only give one per wristband?

Just wondering if I can grab snacks for my family or if we all need to go up to the counter.

I was thinking of the castle projection show that precedes Wishes. Does that run on party nights?
:santa:

Question here- Does MVMCP always end before Christmas? We are planning a 2015 trip with check in date of the 23rd,and it looks like we will be missing it if Im going off of this years dates.

And after the party nights are over, can you still meet the Characters like Jack Skellington?
