*Mickey's Very Merry Bankruptcy Bash* LOTS OF PICS UPDATED!!!

LuckyMommyx2- thanks so much for reading my whole report. It was a little depressing being there for a half day but I prefer that...of course it's probably more difficult with children. As for flying, a bad flight is terrible. When I was younger our plane got struck by lightning and it stuck w/me forever! Also thank you for reading my food report!

You mentioned earlier that you didn't take a picture of the new Nemo show because they didn't allow photography but you took a flash photograph in POTC when they aren't allowed in there either? :confused3

Hi Blayne- sorry I didn't see that you had posted that earlier. Yes we are going in February for a long weekend that was completely unexpected but is dealing with Jays work we happen to be ending up there! While it won't be a lavish trip A TRIP TO DISNEY IS A TRIP TO DISNEY!!! WOO HOO! I swear the first thing I did when I found out we were going was see when you're going to be there but its not the same days! :(

Jennifer- I wasn't aware that you can't take flash photography on Pirates, thanks for the thumbs up

The crowd was a little older than us (mostly 40's) but we still had a great time.

Watch it there missy, what are trying to say that we old folks don’t know how to have a good time? You should see me do the Hookey-Pookey. :cool1:
Well maybe not.

Just got caught up today on your last couple of installments only to find out it’s almost over, Sorry to hear that. I have really enjoyed being alone on your trip. Thank you for taking the time and effort to share it with us.

Looking forward to your next one

Awww im devastated that we're not going on the same days! However, thats amazing that your going to Disney and so soon after your trip there!! It must be such a great surprise after not thinking you would be going for a little bit! Even if its not lavish I hope you will do some kind of trip report so that I can get my fix .. since it will probably be RIGHT before my trip!!

Hooray you've booked another trip! Make sure write another TR - no matter how short the trip may be - I've really enjoyed reading this one. thanks for sharing :)

You two might want to consider buying each other a DVC membership for a wedding present!! (soon to be opening at AK!)

Thanks for the great TR, looks like you 2 had lots of fun! That pic of your DF w/ the sad face in the airport is too funny! That's how my DF looks when we are in the airport on the way TO Disney :rotfl: I know what you mean about the annoying rounds of comedy shows on the plane. I probably had to watch the same ones when I flew to WDW from Newark this August. They were the same on the way there and the way back! I'm flying to WDW again next week, and something tells me they probably have the same comedy reel in :furious:

I really enjoyed your TR! It got me pumped for our trip! I am glad you're going back in a few months... I am sure you miss it all already ;)

I enjoyed your TR very much! Great pics too! I want to go back to the world around Christmas to see all the pretty decorations. My DH is like an earlier poster's DBF, he thinks WDW is just for families with kids. Not True!!!!! :wave2:

I am so sad that your trip report is over with. I couldn't wait to get home from work each night to see if there was an update. Great pictures and great trip report. Can't wait to read about your next trip report, and conratulations on your future wedding. :thumbsup2

I want to thank everyone for your kind replies. I would respond to each and every one of you individually but this has been one of the most hectic weeks of my life (finals + work = not fun). I'm so happy that all of you enjoyed my report as I enjoyed sharing it with you. I can't wait to hear about each and every one of your reports and wish you all the disney magic in the world.

Final Thoughts
-With all the food and drinks we gorged ourselves on I gained 3 pounds and Jeremy gained the same. Both of us lost the weight within one week (however the one week consisted of slim fast bars and 100 calorie snack packs).

-Staying at 3 resorts is DEFINITELY not worth it and don't trust Disney with your luggage.

-Make a point to go to Islands of Adventure and Universal if you have older children or no children at all. It's worth it!

-All Star Sports is our least favorite of all the value resorts

-Animal Kingdom Lodge remainds our favorite resort of all time

-Best dinner was definitely Artist Point, while California Grill was a dispappointment.

-Going in mid-nov was a huge plus :thumbsup2 Although a little chilly better than going in the heat of the summer and very low crowds. We never waited more than 15 minutes for anything and we got to see all of the christmas events/decorations.

-Don't believe what you hear about the Coral Reef, we found it wonderful!

-Must See/Do Attractions:
Magic Kingdom: All three of the mountains, Haunted Mansion, Pirates, Phillharmagic, Peter Pan and Wishes
EPCOT: SOARIN!!!, Circle of Life Video!!!, El Rio del Tiempo (but only after a margarita), Maelstrom, and Reflections of China
MGM: Fantasmic, Beauty and the Beast, Disney's Art of Imagination and Muppet Vision
AK: Everest, all of the trails, Kiliminjaro Safaris.

Thanks again and I'll see y'all "real soon" pixiedust:

Really enjoyed the report. Thanks for sharing it with us. :)

Thank you so much for sharing your report! You guys had a blast and I got to live vicariously through your no-kid trip!

Thanks again, and congrats on having another trip (even if it is a quickie) planned! It's driving me nuts not to have a date even in mind yet. :sad2:

What a fabulous trippie! I enjoyed it very much! You sound like you had a great trip and you are such an adorable couple!

Allyson
