Our last full day at the parks

. We woke up kind of sad but...we still had all of today, tonight and tomorrow before we went home so we were going to live it up!
We got ready quickly, ate a quick breakfast at Mara and hung around the lobby waiting for our stomachs to digest.
Finally we made our way over to the AK! We still had lots of exploring to do!
Take a quick second to look at the sign above. What's with the dragon? I know that the imagineers originally intended to have a land in AK dedicated to mysterious creatures so I have to wonder why they never changed the sign...maybe they're up to something
Anywhoo, we made our way through the turnstiles and on our way we were!
Neither of us had ever seen the Flights of Wonder show and we were around the theatre right around the start of the show so we decided to see it. It was a cute show but I didn't think it was a must see by any means. They do the bird/dollar trick and have a couple big birds fly over the crowd, but really that was about all. Nothing to write home about.
We had the oppurtunity to see Nemo again but it's such a long show that we decided to pass up the oppurtunity.
We walked around perusing the various shops and trails and just had an overall relaxing day. Before we knew it we were already ready for lunch.
I hornswoggled Jeremy into eating healthy by taking him into the Tusker House. At his dismay he found only healthy entrees, at which point his response was "with a name like Tusker House you would think they'd be selling elephant meat!"

Well, he still managed to get the most unhealthy thing on the menu. Men have a gift for this!
Tusker House was an overall let down. God awful salads. Stick to Flame Tree Barbeque!
We got Fast Passes for Everest and walked around some more......
Eventually our time was up and we were ready
"I'm going to make you an offer you can't refuse".
Everest for the second time was just as terrifying. Again I did my combo of burying head in Jeremys shoulder, covering eyes, and covering ears, adjusting at the appropriate times. I thought I had it figured out how to not get quezy when going backwards. Just hold your breath! I thought to myself. Problem arose when I had no more breath to hold at the fastest point. Ugh!
Somehow, I managed to survive. Jay had a grand old time so it was worth it. Plus, I convinced him into taking this. This was yet another picture I had to persuede him into taking, but it was all worth it!
Women and children run screaming in horror, men, get your swords!.......it's the Jay Monster!!! AHHHHHHHHHHH!
Sorry, I needed that.
After Everest we decided to do the Pangani Exploration Trail.
Jeremy tried to convince me he could take a full grown Gorilla. Sorry darling, not quite there yet...
........maybe next time.
After the trail we decided to visit Camp Minnie Mickey and then call it a day. There were HUGE lines for all of the characters but we managed to get one with Santa Goofy which was pretty cute
We had an early dinner reservation at Boma so we decided to make it back to the hotel to just relax for awhile before dinner. We sadly said our goodbyes to Animal Kingdom and reluctantly went to the bus stop. Fortunately we still had Magic Kingdom tonight, and EPCOT tomorrow so we weren't able to be too sad!
After relaxing in the room for a nominal amount of time it was time for dinner. We mad our way downstairs to check in. We were one of the first to arrive at the restaurant which was nice because we were seated almost immediately.
We made our way to our table and our waitress came over quickly. She was fast and efficient
Just the kind of server I like. I had my bacardi and diet and jay his jack and coke.
Then it was time for the mad dash to the buffet tables! We both enjoy Boma because everything is SO different. It's definitely an experience worth trying!
We both had several helpings and by the time dinner was over we could easily have been rolled back to our room for a siesta but that was not on the agenda for today!
Up Next: Our Night at Magic Kingdom, and our fun adventures at the boardwalk!!
