Mickey's Toontown Morning Madness

This is what it say's about it on Disneylands site.

Mickey's Toontown Morning Madness

As a Guest of Walt Disney Travel Company, wake up and enjoy MICKEY'S TOONTOWN MORNING MADNESS* an hour before Toontown opens to the general public. This enhanced experience offers you the opportunity to meet and greet some of your favorite Disney characters.

The Mayor of Toontown, Mickey Mouse, leads a comical ceremony in which everyone “becomes” a citizen of Toontown - and that’s when the madness begins!

Your favorite characters will be showing off their homes, playing games and getting everyone involved in their Toontown “civic duties!” Don’t forget to ask for an autograph from Mickey or some of his pals - they’re always happy to oblige!

That sounds like fun! We hardly get over to that side of the park, and when we do, Toontown is already closed down for the fireworks. When just Mom and I went recently, we ate a yummy dessert and sat by the Roger Rabbit fountain. Occasionally, Pluto would come stomping by, followed by Goofy. I honestly felt like a member of the Disney family at that moment! :)

I wonder if it is free.

Now that's a loaded question! It's part of the package I bought, so it "appears" free - although I don't know if they've just hidden it in the cost of the package.

are there specific days of the week that this morning madness occurs on? I'd like to plan around it since I don't get the opportunity. If I did I would go for it as Toontown gets very busy so any early entry there would be worth it if you have small kids. I actually enjoyed Toontown without kids too.

This is the answer I received earlier when I asked how this worked. Thanks Mary Jo!!!

You show your voucher for Mickey's Toontown, and can enter. It opens when the park opens, which is an hour before it normally opens to the public (Mon, Tue, Thu, Sat)

We had tix for MTM and I was planning to use it on a Saturday. However, we went into Toontown when it opened on a Friday, and it wasn't crowded at all. I think it works better that way, instead of lots of people trying to use the tix (which also are EE days), but that's just my opinion. :flower:

We went to MTM yesterday (Thursday) and it wasn't too crowded. All the kids had a good time, we got everyone's autograph (mickey, minnie, goofy, donald, chip & dale, maybe one or two more I can't remember them all). They got to see the special ceremony, it was a great time and my girls really enjoyed it! If you have young ones, I would really suggest this.
