So, we're going to Disney for the first time at the end of the month. We are VERY excited. When we booked our AAA agent neglected to book our Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween party (even though we asked her to) until it was too late. It is sold out for the 31st. That is the only time we are going to be there when they are having the party. Does anyone have any suggestions as to how to get tickets. E-bay is waaaaay too expensive. I'm willing to pay more, but not hundreds of dollars. Do you think maybe there will be tickets available when we get down there?

What else can I do with my kids on Halloween if we can't get in? We are so bummed!

There probably won't be any tickets when you get down there, they are non-refundable, so no one could return theirs, and they only sell a certain number for each night (no one knows how many, they don't disclose that), and when they're gone, they're gone.

Sorry!

I just wondered if people might be selling them themselves when they are there.

I'd like to know why they don't have one on the 30th? We are flying in on Saturday.

It doesn't seem like much else is going on around town on the 31st.

They only have the paty on certain nights of the week to be able to stay open on other nights for fireworks and such. Also there is a lot to set up for the party and most people can't afford to buy tickets for that on top of everything else.

It is also to get people to come. What can I say..

Hey Nicksmom -
I just noticed on the main page (www.disboards.com) that there are special Halloween events planned for Pleasure Island and Downtown Disney on the 30th & 31st. It says they are doing trick-or-treating, costume parades, and picture spots. It sounds like that could be lots of fun for your family with no extra ticket cost! I hope that you figure something out. I'm sure you'll have fun wherever you end up in the world.

Thanks so much, Shelly! Wouldn't Downtown Disney be open only for people with the Halloween tickets? Is Pleasure Island just for adults? I've never been so I don't know. I will check it out. We've also heard that there may be trick or treating at The Boardwalk.

Thanks again for the tips!

Erin

it is a shopping center area. There are no parking fees. You do, however, have to pay to get into Pleasure Island, but if you're travelling with kids that wouldn't be where you'd want to be anyhow. There are a lot of kid friendly areas at DTD. Have fun! HTH

Thanks for the info. I've checked it out and it looks like fun. Can't wait to experience Disney for the first time:)
