Does anyone have any idea when the tickets are expected to go on sale for Mickey's not so scary halloween party? I'm going ON Halloween which I'm sure will sell out quickly so I want to get them as soon as I can. Thanks for any help anyone can give me.

They went on sale at the end of October last year and yes Halloween night sells out very quickly! We are all watching and waiting in anticipation.

Actually, they went on sale at the end of APRIL last year. I called CRO the other day, and they said it was likely that they would go on sale around the same time this year.

Thanks for the info. I will check back on the Disney site at the end of April and see if they went on sale yet.!

I think that might have been a misprint on winniedapooh's post.
I also think it was the end of April last year....im awaiting the tickets for MVMCP!!!

For 2003-- I bought my tickets the middle of May-- so they were on sale by then. We went 10/31. It did sell out but not until the end of August I believe. As I had relatives that decided to join us and didn't get their tickets until mid-august. I'm hoping to go again this year, just not Halloween night.

my df and i are going down oct26-nov2 for our honeymoon. weve never been during this time can someone explain what it is where it is what it cost and do u have to pay extra for it if you stay on the grounds

MNSSHP is held in the MK on certain nights in October (Dates have yet to be officially announced for this year). I believe it runs from 7 p.m. - midnight (although most people report being able to enter the MK around 4 p.m. with only a MNSSHP ticket.)

The MK is decorated for Halloween, there's fortune telling, the rides are open, there's a special Halloween parade that begins with the telling of the Leged of Sleepy Hollow, and the Headless Horseman racing through the parade route, you can trick-or-treat..... (Let's just say there's LOTS to do!!!) Most people dress in costume for the event, but it's not required.

Tickets are around $30-$35 for adults, and should be available sometime around the end of April.

This event is NOT just for kids. Many adults have reported going without kids, and having a blast!!

HTH!!!

if you don't pay for a mnsshp ticket do you have to leave mk at 7 or whenever its starts or are you just not allowed to participate in the party?

You have to have a ticket for the party, if you don't you will have to leave at 6pm, The park Officially closes at 6pm on those days.

if you have a ticket and are already in that park you get a wristband and then you have to wait in tomorrowland until the party starts at 7pm.

I'll have my 9 and 7 year old daughters. Is the MK the only park that does something "special" for Halloween?

Does it matter if we do it on the 31st or another night?

Mouseplanet posted the following tenative dates for MNSSHP, they have not been officialy announced:
October 1, 3, 8, 12, 14, 17, 20, 22, 24, 26, 28, 29 and 31.

As far as WDW goes, yes but Universal has Halloween Horror Nights also. However, with the ages of your children, I think MNSSHP would be better for them unless they're very brave. My family is going to split up because my 16 year old son wouldn't be caught dead at Mickey's party, so my DH and DS will be going to Universal's Halloween party and I will be taking my DD (13) and DS(7) to Mickey's party. You don't have to do it on Halloween, they have other days. We're doing it on Halloween because that is when their Teachers Convention Vacation falls and I feel guilty that they won't be home to go trick or treating so I wanted to make sure we celebrated Halloween in "Grand Style".
