Who is going and when? Does anyone know how much tickets are?

My family plans to go Sept 15th.

We are going! We plan to be in MK on the 31st of October! Tickets for 2009 parties go on sale May 1st (just a few more days!!) Last years prices for advance tickets were $48.95 for ages 10 and up, and $42.95 for ages 3 - 9. These prices were for NON PREMIUM dates though. The 31st is a premium date and it appears tickets were more for that regardless of being purchased in advance.

We are going 10/15 and can not wait!!!:cool1: I'm not sure how much the tickets are this year but we budgeted off of last year's price + $10 for each ticket (just in case).

We're going the very first night--Sept 4. Five years ago, we went to Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party and loved it, so we are very much looking forward to this experience. It will be our last night and the last thing we do before we head home so we can't wait!

We are going the 4th as well and it is our last night there.

Last year on our trip we did the MNSSHP as a last minute addition. The kids loved it. We had previously been to MVMCP and the kids said the liked the halloween party much better, so we adjusted the dates of our trip this year to be able to go to the first party.

Now, we are trying to come up with some costumes for our family of 6 that won't make us too hot.

We'll be there that night too! We were originally planning to come home on 9/5, but I waited for the dates to be confirmed, then switched my ressie to leave on 9/6, so I don't have to worry about being exhausted and traveling. Don't forgot tickets go on sale Friday!

We will be there that same day...it will be the last night of our vacation :sad1: but what a way to spend it.!!

Funny..exact same situation for us..9/11 off to Not so scary Halloween but it is the last night for us..we fly out on the 12th.

Too far away, but can't wait!

I love disney - and can't wait for our trip in August - and hate to be a kill-joy but doesn't anyone else think that it sucks that disney closes to everyone who bought a FULL PRICE ticket that day and then re-opens to those same people if they pay again???? And I'm not clear on what the "extra" is - the same rides, a different themed parade, the same fireworks and staff giving out candy?? help me understand.

I can only speak on our behalf, but we do not plan to spend the day inside the park since we will be there from 4-midnight. I think I would be slap worn out if I went to the park all day long and then hung out for the party for another 8 hours. My kids are excited about trick or treating inside the park and seeing the parade. Those two things alone, along with a somewhat smaller crowd makes it worth the money for us. It is another way for us to experience our favorite place in a different way. Disney doesn't allow those of us that are there in the evening a discount on the daytime tickets so the way I see it; they are being fair to both admissions.

WE are going on September 15th too!!! WE are so excited. Still dont have a clue about costumes though!!! Anyone with ideas? DH, ME, DD6(shes gonna be jasmine), and DS. Suggestions?????

We will be there Sept 4th to, and it is also our last night! I think DS will be prince charming, and I will be Cinderella.. or we have our Halloween costumes from last year, DS was Captain Hook, and I was Peter Pan!

A previous poster mentioned that tickets go on sale May 1, but I was able to purchase our tickets just a few minutes ago. We're going October 2, btw. :yay:

great I'm calling now to order mine for Sept 15th

got them for Sept 15th from a very nice cm named Andy. I'm so excited as this will be the first time we have attended. We did MVMCP in Dec 06 and I thought it was great (DH didn't like it but he suggested going to MNSSHP so I jumped on the tic's before he could change his mind) haha. Now I have to decide what costumes to wear
