mickey's not so scary halloween party tickets - just bought mine online

when we went last time we bought tickets day before choosen party,we knew we def wanted to do it but since we was just doing Disney for 3 wks we waited to see what the weather was going to be like before buying,
Well we def want to do it again this yr and im desighning our outfits at the moment but there is only 2 days we can do this time and Im so worried about the weather that i dont know what to do,Last time weather was perfect and family went as Me"Tink" Hubby "peter pan" 3 boys "Lost boys" mum"pirate" we did ours outfits from my desighns and i would hate to spend all that time again doing them for us to be rained out The date we want is not Halloween its around 1st/2nd wk in october
Argh...dont know what to do Im thinking of going as either Cinderella,Sleeping Beauty Tink"lost treasure outfit" or even desighning a woodland ballgown for Tinkerbell....dont want to put all the effort and money into,then only have sold out dates so cant go

OMG all that effort going into handmade costumes makes me feel sooooo inadequate

Seriously do a lot of people dress up, is it a requirement or would it be ok just to get Jack Skellington shirts for us all ??

it's not a requirement at all...lots of people dress up and lots of people don't dress up...
we're not dressing up...

DD went a few years back and didn't dress up, but had make up put on her during the party...
i'll see if i can find a picture of the make up that they put on her (for free)...

i agree that it's a lot of fun to dress up, but i'm not very creative (your basic wet rag )

if my sister wants to dress up, then we will, otherwise we won't...

The whole of last yr I had postbox red hair! My hair is really long right down my back and our fav film is Nightmare before xmas,so I wasgoing as Sally but Im naturelly blonde and the up-keep of going to the hair dresser every 2/3 wks was just too much Im totally gutted (not just because of the sally outfit ) but because i LOVED my red hair...my er mum not soo much

we made DH a Jack sparrow costume i desighned it from the 2 latest films my mum made it! It was soo funny to see Dh as he is pretty good at acting to fit the character he wore it out New yr in Newquay and was swamped by girls!!! Needless to say i havent let him wear it again other then to our Twins Pirate bday party where he had 35 kids chasing and fighting him

I love dressing up My mums always made carnival costums and then i went into dance at a young age so she had to make all my dance outfits she was Amazing so ended up head maker for the dance school she didnt like it as much when i went into the Royal Ballet as she wasnt needed anymore
so now i desighn she makes(I er cant stitch a thing)..

Quite a few dress up but i seen loads in just Halloween T-shirts and they looked fab
We do it as I miss my Royal Ballet days and my show dance days My mum loves making the outfits i desighn and we give ourselves a few wks to do them...."Well ok Ive been known to say Mum can you make me this by tomorrow"

A long RED wig is what I want also now, just so i can dress up and at least have the red hair
I bet I end up Red again at some point in the not to distant future but i still have red in my blonde hair trying to get it out without a full bleach job is just way hard! I dont want to bleach it as i actually want hair left!!

We are disney newbies, but we are throwing ourselves in at the deep end...
2 weeks at OKW 24th Oct - 7th Nov... getting married at Disney 31st October!!!
We are MASSIVE horror fans but are travelling with our 2 kids so MNSSHP will be perfect - we have booked tickets for 31st Oct so i will be able to stay in my gothic wedding clothes all day (the only day in the calendar where I am allowed into MK in my wedding gear!! ).

I booked my tickets over the phone and now i am flapping a bit coz you guys all got etickets? The lady on the phone just gave me a reference number and told me that I can pick up the tickets on resort? Now I am wondering

Congrats on your upcoming wedding, very cool that a) it's at Disney, and b) on Halloween, and c) that you get to wear your wedding dressing to MK, and d) that Disney are holding a party just for you

ha ha ha considering there are only 4 of us... we are having the biggest wedding reception EVER! lol
I am just trying to sort out our dining reservations now - I have booked in at Tony's for 6pm that night (thought that as we are going to be at MK and it is the lady and the tramp restaurant, this would be quite romantic)
we arent too bothered about missing a bit of the party - we are going to watch the later parade any way and it will be good to sit down (I have a back condition) we will be there until the end, so still LOADS of time

it's fine if you have a reference number...though i think you may have to have your credit card with you too.....be sure to bring it just in case (as an identifier, not to pay)..

i can't remember if you can pick it up in the resort or not....we did the reference number thing for the xmas party and it worked fine...i just don't remember if i picked them up at the resort or at the park...
you can pick them up any time you arrive at WDW - you don't have to wait for the day of the party..
