Im lost, I would like to take my family to Mickey's not so scarry halloween party. Is the party all month long, or just one night? So if one night how do i get tickets? Do you dress up? Can you dress as a cast member? Thanks for the help!

I went last year. I did not dress up, enjoyed seeing all the kids dress up and I even carried a bag for candy like every other adult, this was in WDW and it was fun. I bought my ticket for the night of halloween, I think it is an all week event, the ticket is only good for one night. :wizard:

This is what I read about MNSSHP on the WDW thread -- not sure if it's all accurate, but this is what I read :)
You may dress up, but no head masks
You may dress up as a character, but no signing autographs, etc

I didn't even know about the MNSSHP until recently. Do they have this at DL as well as WDW?

We had a similar event at DCA last year. No shows like I hear WDW has, but there's dress up and Trick or Treating. It was on weekends through most of October. Don't know if we'll be getting it this year, but considering it sold out fast, I would think they'd have it again, but sometimes DL doesn't even repeat successful events each year.

We went last year and loved it. The kids dressed up , but many other adults did. Alot of disney costumes..........Can't wear masks that cover your eyes.
i wish it had been longer , could not see everything. Grown-ups got candy too......and it was good candy not hard ones like you get at the mall :Pinkbounc lot's of chocolate! Most cast memebers were haveing fun , but some looked like the candy was coming out of thier paychecks :furious: . But I would recommend you get your tickets early.they were on E-bay before Disney sold out for triple the price, I guess they pre-sell to AP holders first.

We went to the MNSCHP last October at WDW and had one of the best times ever at Disney World. We will be going to Disneyland this October and hopefully going to the Disneyland version. As stated before this was done on the weekend last year, hopefully they will expand it this year. Tickets did go quickly last year at Disneyland also so keep your eyes on the Board for sale dates.

Good luck and have fun.

WDW's version if far superior to Disneylands. I believe Disneylands was a test last year, so hopefully if they do it this year, they will add more entertainment (Parade, Fireworks, Storytelling..etc). The price is alot cheaper than WDW though. MNSSHP was about $35 and Disneylands Halloween treat was $15.

We had fun at Disneyland's halloween party, but after a couple hours, there really wasn't much to do. We hit all the trick or treat stations, met a few characters, talked to the live scarecrows at the entrance of Bugs Land, went to a goofy dance party and played a few games. The best part was that the kids got to play the carnival games for free & they won candy. My kids always want to play the games, but I hate paying for them. None of the rides were crowded, but we didn't go for the rides since we go every other week anyway. We did come home with way too much candy & ended up throwing a lot away.
