Mickey's Magical Milestones Tour question

I just made a reservation for this tour but forgot to ask a few questions to the CM. So if anyone who took this tour could answer I would appreciate it, if not I'll call back to ask.

The tour starts at 9:00 and I was told to be at City Hall at 8:45 am. I was told we would take the train first. Will we be there for the characters arriving for the opening of the park or will we leave before the charaters?

Also for the Mickey's PhilharMagic does the tour have reserved seating?

I've never gone on that tour before, but can venture a guess at the answers. If you have a tour that begins at 9pm and the park opens at 9pm, you will miss the opening day festivities. You'll already be inside the park and will be going through introductions with your tour guide by then. As for seating at Philharmagic... if they take you into the ride they'll be room for you. You may even get to go in a difference entrance. I know we did on HM and POTC when I went on the Keys to the Kingdom Tour.
