Mickey's Halloween Party question

We are planning a trip end of October, first of November to go to MNSSHP. I believe tickets will be on sale later this month? Do they usually sell out? We are taking my brother and SIL and if they cancel, DH and I will still go to WDW but probably won't go to MNSSHP. So, how much in advance do I need to purchase the tickets for this event? Thanks for your help.

I think the only dates that sell out are 10-30 and 10-31 and I think they don't sell out until about August. Can anyone confirm?

We were there last year for the party during the first 2 weeks of Oct. We had bought tickets online in June and loved it so much we decided to attend another night. Had no problems buying them on site the night of. I was told the only nights that sell out are the 10/30 and 10/31. Hope this helps!

We went last year, not the 30 or 31st....bought DH and my tickets in advance, found out DD was off that night and purchased her ticket a week in advance....got down there and found out DD's boyfriend was also off and wanted to come....purchased his ticket same day of party....great time, but if you really want to go, I'd advise buying the tickets as soon as you can!

Okay so, when one of the nights "sells out", how crowded does that make it?

I was stongly leaning towards Monday the 30th instead of Friday the 27th because so many people have told me that Friday night MNSSHP nights were always more crowded.

We were at last years party on the 31st and it was sold out. Ride lines and candy lines were managable, but we kept to Fantasyland with 2 little ones. The big rides I'm sure were more crowded. We didn't notice the crowds until it was time for Hallowishes and then it was packed. We could barely move. We opted for the later Boo to You parade (on a tip from the DIS) due to less crowds. We pushed our way with 2 strollers from the hub of Main St to Frontierland to watch the parade from there. After the parade was over the crowds were gone. That said if I had a choice of 30 or 31, I'd do the 30. But will it be more crowded this year because its a Monday and people tend to take long weekends. Whatever you do enjoy!
