Mickey's Halloween and Daytime Halloween?

Can you go to Disneyland during the day for Halloween time and then go back at night for Mickey's Halloween Party, if you do buy both tickets?

I've never done both but have been in DL during the day that had a MHP that night and I've attended the MHP but not entered the park until 4. In the past there have been locations inside the park for you to get your MHP wristband if you are already in the park from a regular day ticket.

Personally I think the party is worth it to do at least once. We've always had a great time and been able to get on a lot of rides plus do several of the MHP exclusive activities. Last year we had a 5 day PH and the day of MHP was a 6th park day for us. Are you thinking about getting a 1 day ticket and MHP ticket and doing just a marathon day? Or getting a multi day ticket plus MHP ticket?

To be honest, this year there isn't really anything Halloween-specific going on during the daytime that you can't see or do during the party. In the past there was a Halloween Carnival in the daytime (which was not open during the party), but the Carnival is not happening this year. So if you want to save some money or keep costs down, you might want to just get the MHP ticket. You'll only have 8 hours in the park, but it might be worth it.

I would suggest doing the party and then the next day using the 1 day ticket if you do both. The party lets you in at 4 pm so you do get a good amount of time in the park. I wouldn't waist a park ticket on a party day.
