Hi there, we are going on Monday to DLP and am a bit confused really about Cafe Mickey. We eould like to go here as apparently you can just order pizza so is cheapest place to eat where you can meet characters? Does everybody concur with this ? Only problem is that it says that it is in Disney Village, we are staying off site so will we be allowed o go here? How much walk is it from the park?

Thanks very much:confused3

Disney village is a 5min max walk from the parks, anyone can go in there you dont need a ticket it just a street of disneyshops and restraunts.

We have eaten in cafe mickey a few times and we just order of the menu. I usually just get a main and my 2 kids share a kids meal. I know others have ordered pizza between them and got drinks and desert also.

When we go in july we are planning on going there for lunch on our last day b4 we leave and just order pizza/drinks:thumbsup2

The last twice I've gone to Cafe Mickey with my DD we've ordered pizza to share, and got some drinks. First time we got a starter to share as well, and the most recent time we chose a dessert instead of the starter. Whilst I don't think the adult menu choices are that expensive (for DLP anyway) I do think the kids meal is very expensive.

You get exactly the same character interaction there regardless of what you've ordered to eat - and its great fun :goodvibes.

Anyone can eat in any restaurant anywhere in the resort at DLP, regardless of where you're staying. You should book in advance for Cafe Mickey though - its a very popular restaurant. If you pop into City Hall when you get there, they'll be able to make a reservation for you.

Enjoy your trip to The Magic

Does anyone have a recent menu for Cafe Mickey? I would love to eat there next month.

I agree it is the cheapest place to eat for character intervention if you order like a pizza. Disney Village is open to anyone even those not on holiday at disney

I would have thought the cheapest character meal would be the Tea Party @ Plaza Gardens
£14/head in last year's brochure, I don't have a current one.

As far as Im aware the tea party has been moved from Plaza Gardens to Luckly Nugget (over a yr ago) and has really gone downhill since. I havent heard of anyone enjoy it since it moved

You're right forgot it moved to LN. Didn't think much of it when it was at PG to be honest, but it was the cheapest option and our first trip so didn't know what to expect.
If you're just looking for a way for your kids to meet characters it was OK.

Hi - we were at the Disney Village about 2 weeks ago - the Cafe Mickey menu is still the same as the one on the board (even though its an old post it hasn't changed) :)

I love Cafe Mickey ~ we've had equally great character interaction at a quiet lunch-time as at a busy evening. :wizard:
