I was wondering if anyone had reviews on this event.

Is it worth buying the extra ticket?

Does anyone have tips on view the parades/shows?

Are there special characters to take pictures with?

We love the party for the shorter ride lines, parade, fireworks and snow on main st. There are special photo opportunities like the 7 dwarfs but for us the extra hours with shorter ride times is what makes it worth the money. Everyone feels different so that is just my experience.

DH and I have been visiting during the month of December for at least 8 years with annual / seasonal passes. Three years ago we put the $$ out for the hard ticket event, MVMCP and will be doing it again this year on December 8. We love the excitement of the park at the party. Everything and everyone seems brighter and more "merry". We enjoy the children (other peoples) and their wonder of it all. The fact Disney has two parades at the party gives us a chance to get in some ride time while lots of people view parade #1, then we settle back on main street with our "free" hot chocolate and cookies and catch the holiday fireworks and then find our spot to watch and enjoy the second parade and feel the snow showering down on us. The parade is exclusive to the MVMCP.... until Christmas week, when it is shown every night. We think it's worth the money. It's an extra special night for us.

Same here. Pretty much everything is a walk on. The kids love it.

We are doing it for the first time this November. We did the MNSSHP last time and loved it. Favorite parade and fireworks all week!!

That's the same day I'm going! See you there! Super excited. This will be my first time for this event.

We did it for the first time last year and are hooked. It was worth the money to get in the park at 4p and hit all the main attractions with hardly any waits.
One tip... if you want to have dinner there, eat early because the restaurant selections are quite slim after 5p and with only two or three quick service options after that time, the lines are very long!

Eat first unless you want to wait in line for the 7 dwarfs.

Love love love it. Christmas tradition as it's very best, my family loves it and so do I. If I could do nothing else Disney, this would be something I wouldn't sacrifice.

I believe they will have it mid November next year. They like to start the xmas decor and events 2 week of Nov.

I read somewhere to wait until the last minute to buy the tickets. They said then you can be sure the weather is good. My question is if I wait do the parties on a week day sell out?

Well I know the Halloween event always sells out. There's someone always looking for tickets.

ABSOLUTELY !! We havnt been able to atttend for years cause of scheduling and going after the 1st of the year and we will be there on the 14th so excited
