Mickey Pool

I don't think it's a height thing. The planning DVD says 3-10 year olds can use the pool. Interested in hearing what everyone else says.

I was in the pool with my 6 year old son. 32 year old (at the time) male just under 6 feet. Couldn't use the slide though. :confused3 ;)

They must be potty trained is all I remember. But then again the darn pool was drained and cleaned 3 times on our cruise. Memories of the pool scene in Caddyshack came to mind. :confused3

There is a height restriction for the slide, sorry I dont know what it is.
The pool has 3 designated areas, but kids can do all three. One ear is designated for the little ones in swim diapers. It has jets of water and only about 2 inches deep in the bottom. The other ear is for kids who are a little older, potty trained but not confident enough to go into the main part of the mickey pool. Maybe this is their first experience in a pool with other kids. The main part is for a little bigger kids who play harder and are not afraid of the water. Not sure how deep it was, but only came slightly above my knee, I believe.

I THINK the max height for the slide is 54 inches (4'6"). I just remember my husband saying, "oh, well then you can go on the slide honey". He's hilarious!! (I'm not that short but he is 6'1). :rotfl:

I checked online at DCL's website and it says:

The slide is for ages 4-14; maximum height 64" and minimum height 38".

Looks like my DD should be able to slide. She will be 14. She is about 60"-62'' right now. Unless she outgrows me by 2 inches by next November she should be able to slide. Who knows.........by 14 she may not want to, lol! But at least she could if she wanted to.

I know i am 4 foot sevan and I snuck on the slide i got to the top and they asked how old i said 14 (if im gonna get accused of being a child at resarants might as well use it to my advantage.) this was when the pool was practically empty no kids in line.... it was cool to say I did it but i wont again i grew a bit(i know flame suit on)
