On the planning DVD it says that the slide at the pool is only for up to age 10. Is that strictly enforced? I'm going to have a very sad 11 year old if that's the case.(we won't even talk about me and DH!)
In the Passporters Field Guide to the Disney Cruise Line, Second Edition it says the slide was for ages 4 to 14 and between 32 and 64 tall. Not sure if that has changed. I think the 3rd edition is coming out at the end of March.
It is not strictly enforced. My triplets were 12 the last time we cruised and they slid happily constantly with their 9 yr old sister.
Now this time, I doubt my 15 yr olds will be able to slide, one of the smaller 15 yr old will probably try to get one slide in before she gets noticed, but that will be it
I hope my just turned 3 year old will be able to slide. She meets the minimum height requirement. If she can't, the whole ship will know about it, believe you me!
I didn't know about this until I noticed that there was no adults sliding down, so I asked the pool staff and he said that it is only for children. I don't know up to what age though.
My DS turns 13 the day we disembark and I know he would be bummed if he
couldn't use the slide. I was almost afraid to say anything until we got there ... now I have no worries !!!!!!!
