Hollywood. 1939. Amid the glitz and the glitter of a bustling young movie town at the height of its golden age…wait, wait, wait! That’s not right now is it?! We aren’t here to drop-in on the the Tower of Terror, we’re here to eat!
to my 2nd Dining Report! This time around, we were in the World from June 10-14, 2015. Let’s start with some introductions!

My name is Mary and in my non-Disney life I live in Arizona. I’ve worked for the Mouse in my past, but these day’s I’m more of a frequent guest. No trip is complete without a Half & Half from the UK Pub, a Dole Whip, and dinner at a signature restaurant. Hopefully we can accomplish my must-do’s during this trip! Also, that picture was awesomely taken when I visited California Adventure during Extra Magic Morning on the morning of the Tinkerbell ½ marathon. I dropped in on the Tower of Terror before heading to the finish to met up with some runners and apparently I was the only visitor. It was cool and only a little creepy to be in the elevator all by myself!

Traveling with me is my dad, Bob. This picture is us at the Kentucky Derby this year (so. much. fun!). Bob’s most excited to check out the new Polynesian Studio Villas. We’ve always been Polynesian fans, so when they announced the Poly DVC we decided to finally take the DVC plunge, especially since Disney did not expand the resort to add it in. Bob’s goals for the trip are to not faint when they give him the bill for the wedding, and to drink at Trader Sam’s. I think we can do that!

Also along for the ride are my sister Kathy and her fiance, Jeff. They are sickeningly cute together. Kathy is active on the boards as Kanadar, so don’t be surprised to see her lurking around! Kathy and Jeff are the reason for this trip. You see, they are getting married at Walt Disney World in October! When planning a Disney Wedding most of the work is done via email, but you make one trip about 4 months out to take care of all the details. Friday afternoon we will be gorging ourselves on potential reception and dessert party foods, so get excited! Disney chefs can be so creative! For Kathy, no trip is complete without a trip to Germany’s Karamel Kuche. Jeff is relatively new to Disney, so he’s just happy to be taking it all in, though he has a penchant for all things peanut butter. Don’t be surprised to see PB during snack time.

As annual passholders, and adults who enjoy indulging in a cocktail or two, we will be using the Tables in Wonderland card for some sweet discounts along the way.
Now I invite you to step aboard, if you dare, because in tonight's episode Disney Food is the star and this report travels directly to...the Disney Dining Zone!
