I noticed that there are no showtimes listed for Mickey & Magical Map onot the website or app. Is it still running?

Also, today there isn't a Soundsational parade listed. Does that not run every day?

Thanks. Just hyperplanning my June trip...

It's too early for those times to appear at DLR. They generally appear as close to 30 days or so (generally 6 weeks) For us 180 day WDW planners it can be maddening. You can look at Touring Plans historic times from last year to get an idea.

Mickey and the Magical Map is not presented daily. It looks like it's currently being presented Fri, Sat, Sun, and Mon (and it's dark Tue to Thu). Soundsational used to be presented daily, but it recently went to a Fri to Sun schedule. It's not known if these reduced schedules will carry into the summer or not.

Mickey is on the schedule for Saturday. My guess is it doesn't run every day in the off season.

Shoot. Since my Disneyland Park days are going to be Wed & Thurs, I may be missing Mickey & Map? Let's hope at least Soundsational goes back to daily for that last week in June.

Mickey and the Magical Map may be playing daily in June when you go. Park hours show up about 6 weeks out and then slowly the show schedules pop up.

Got it. Yeah, I'm hopeful. Just making sure it isn't going anywhere...

I'm driving myself crazy. The schedule for my dates (6/29 & 6/30) haven't come up yet, but the entertainment schedule for June (so far) still has Soundsational & Magical Map on a limited schedule. Frustrating.

I'm pretty sure Mickey & The magical Map only plays on Fri-Mon. It's been like that for a long time.

Encouraging news... Last week they were doing installation (Orientation) tours for new cast members.
AND, were doing blocking with new dancers for the Magical Map show.
We should see the return to shows everyday in June.

The schedule is up through Monday June 27th and all through June the Map is Fri-Mon and the parade is only Fri-Sun. All the budget cuts seem to be continuing into the summer. Even hours are reduced from last year in June. Not much, just an hour, but that one hour probably saves Disney a lot of money in payroll!

DLR and WDW are reportedly under orders to cut costs by $500 million in the second quarter because of cost overruns at Shanghai Disney opening in June. So park hours and entertainment are being cut back. In my experience MMM and SoundSational play daily in the summer and I would expect that to be the case starting on July 1 (third quarter).

:wizard:

my fingers are beyond crossed that these cuts will end in the third quarter. I am feeling really irritated with the idea of paying the same amount to get less p. I guess I'm actually worried that they will say to themselves "look at all the cuts we made and money we saved and it didn't hurt park attendance or guest spending at all so why shouldn't we keep up the cost saving measures".

I'm hoping to catch both the show and he parade in October when the cuts have come to an end.

This. We just got back from DLR and inadvertently missed the show because it doesn't run Tues-Thrs. I just didn't pay enough attention to the times guide and my plan to 'do it tomorrow' didn't work out.

That would be great, but thus far, the schedule doesn't reflect that.

I'm just surprised that the Thursday before July 4th weekend would have no Magical Map or Soundsational. Oh well.

So, back in June, missed both Soundsational & M&MM.

Now I'm finding myself possibly going back for a brief visit in May. Looks like M&MM could be a go, but Soundsational is down even for weekends?!

C'mon!!!

We did the same thing!
