Hello,
The grandson and I will be in the Parks for the evening of Sunday 4/30 then full days on 5/2 - 5/4. I just took a look at the DL schedule and I only see Mickey and the Magical Map listed for Sunday. I'm wondering if the entertainment schedule isn't flushed out this far in advance or if indeed the show is only shown on weekends during that time of the year? I'd prefer not to try and squeeze it in on the 30th but if that's the only available showing I'll rearrange our plans. Thanks for any input you can offer!

I believe it is only shown on Friday - Monday. It was that way when we were there in January of 2016 and only shows that way again for my dates at the end of April.

You can check back. It used to only be dark two days a week. So it could be the schedule isn't complete. Try looking at the week before to see what it shows.

I just looked and it looks like it's not playing Tues-Thurs but does play Fri-Mon the first week of May and also in April and March. So it will likely be playing Sunday and Monday of your trip.

I'm positive its only Friday to Monday. It has been on my to do list forever and I kept missing it. Finally saw it. It was good but I would not go way out of my way for it.

In the last two years, I've spent 16 days at DL, and will be spending another ten or so before the end of June this year. I've never seen Mickey and the Magical Map. I'm hoping to get there one of our upcoming trips.

THe show is really a bit outdated but the theater is super cool (I had no idea it was back there) and the show its kind of one of those magical moments just to sit there and watch it. And the performers are amazing. But really, the story and effects are very MEH. Reminds me a bit of a parade entertainment.

That used to be Turtle Talk with Crush for us. We kept putting it off. On our last trip we finally went and saw it, then we saw it again that same trip because it was so much fun. I've seen Magical Map twice. I think it's worth seeing.

Outdated? Hmm... I don't know. It is less than 4 years old. It does feature a lot of older shows, but I like that. It's fun to see some of the characters you no longer see just walking around the park. I like the Little Mermaid scene with Sebastian.

Interesting that it is only 4 years old. I would have guessed it was from the era of MSEP. Maybe its the theater itself that made me feel like it was a super old show.

The theater is super old. It's been many different things over the years. Prior to the Magical Map show it was the area they used for the Princess M&G. But then they built the well themed Princess Fantasy Faire and were able to put on a stage production again. When we went sometime in the early 2000's (2002 or 2005) they had a Snow White show.

It's off season now, so only weekends and holidays. The schedule online is accurate!
