Mickey 3d luggage tags

I am a little confused. You put these on our luggage, but there is no spot for our name or resort and there is no bar code on them. How does disney know were our luggage goes? Are we missing a piece?

When we got ours last year, there were little slips of paper that came with them for you to put your name and address. Then I was able to slip the paper in the slit so it was able to be read. Not sure if that has changed.

And these are luggage tags, they are not for Magical Express. Those tags will come separately and will have a bar code and the resort you are going to.

If I remember correctly, your Magical Express packet will come about 3 weeks prior to your arrival.

inside the brochure booklet that the luggage tags came with are a page where you tear out the slip of paper you fill out with your name/address that goes inside the luggage tags. The tricky part for me was figuring out how to attach them to your luggage

The Mickey luggage tags you received are just for fun. The address part of the tags are on a page in your booklet that came with them.
If you are using Magical Express, they will send you separate "tags" that are more like long stickers that have more information printed on them already, including bar codes, etc. You should receive them 2-3 weeks prior to departure.

Magical Express tags are like airline baggage tags and are bright yellow. Each member of your party will get one with their name and resort info on it and a bar code. We got ours last week and we don't go until November.

Received our mail today and we have the booklet, luggage tags and ME tags all together. Is there anything else to expect in the mail?

We leave tomorrow and never got our magical express tickets.

we booked thru disney. I called and they called magical express asking why they did not mail them. Magical express said they didn't have our address. Very annoyed. If we want them to get our luggage we need to go to the Disney welcome center in Orlando with our luggage tags and they will fetch our luggage.
