I still have not received any communication from Disney about this event and buying tickets. We are booked using our DVC points from 10/27-11/3. I was seriously considering going to the Boo Bash with my brother and his family who just moved to Orlando area but not at those prices. We will have a theme park view room so any fireworks or castle projection we should be able to see from our room. I’m glad TwoMisfits mentioned the sea world trick or treating, we may just do that instead.

Ok. Never been to the party. I have a question. We are booked Oct 3rd to the 8th. We are interested in the Oct 5th party. That is our Epcot day. So if we buy party tickets that won’t use one of our 6 day park tickets right? The way I read it was you don’t need a park ticket or park reservation if you have a party ticket after 7. Thanks for the help
Nope, seperate ticket. See you there, we'll be at Epcot that AM as well, and hopefully at the BAH that evening. :)

Staying at Boardwalk (inn, not DVC) 8/25 - 8/31 and received the early ticket email.

Staying at Art of Animation over Halloween weekend...haven’t gotten an email.

Haven’t gotten a mail about this. We are at the BCV, and thinking about going August 31. Our whole family will be there in October, but the only date we are there for is our check in day, and they will get in late from TX and MA. For me, the prices are too high for what they would be able to enjoy.

Sorry if I missed it, but does anyone know what time the tickets go on sale?
And I am staying on rented points, so I got the email saying call member services. Can I just call the regular line?

Which resort are you at? I’m at ASMo from Sept 18-25, 2021.

We’re there too! We’re doing kind of a “forced split stay” as SOG didn’t have the full time period I wanted. So happy now that it worked out that way as the e-mail I got was for the ASMo res, and I’ve gotten nothing from SOG. Interestingly enough I just e-mailed them yesterday to ask if they’re going to sell Boo Bash tickets. *fingers and toes crossed* they do. I need any discount I can get on these tickets!

Will be interesting to see if Shades can offer a discount on the tickets. . . I didn‘t even think of checking with them.

Just thinking it may be call in, to verify a resort reservation for the early purchase option. You would think DVC would be easier to purchase tickets, just log into your account.

Of course they don't have one the week of the 50th, was really hoping for one on that Tuesday before.

We were hoping for some that week too. All well, more money I don't have to convince myself to spend lol.

Anyone know why there are no parties the week of sept 25 to oct 4? That is the exact dates of our trip. Part of me is glad we do not have to make a decision..to buy or not to buy...but it is a tradition for us to do the Halloween events for our trip.

We do a huge not so scary Halloween display in our neighborhood (200 kids approx for the last 17 years) and we only go to Disney every 5 years or so...I use this trips to gear up with the newest stuff for my display and to get me in the Halloween mood. I am really disappointed..the one week we go..it goes dark?
what gives?

That's the week leading up to and includes the 50th. Likely to see something for the 50th that week instead.

Talked to guest services and FWIW: While we don't plan to attend the Boo Bash, I called guest services AP line and asked what hotels would be able to book early on June 8 and what the process would be. She placed me on hold for several minutes, and when she returned stated that guests with reservations at Disney-owned hotels would be able to book by calling guest services. She said early booking would have to be handled by phone, rather than online, because hotel reservation would have to be confirmed for early purchase. I did not ask about other properties, but she was very specific in her wording.

From what I've been reading, the DVC Member services line can't even handle regular phone calls from members. How are they going to handle these calls on top of that? I predict long waits on hold for anybody calling DVC Member Services that day.
This exactly!! They still have the warning on the dvc site about unusually high call volumes. They aren’t abnormally high if they’ve been that way for months IMO. How could they possibly add this? I hope it turns out to be easy to do online like buying gold passes used to be. Clearly my MDE account recognizes I’m dvc and AP, and it has my reservations linked. Fingers crossed here!

Staying at Movies and got the Resort Early sale email.

Like others I'm disappointed in the price but I think I'm probably still going to go if I can get a ticket. I actually am worried that there are only a few dates and feel like they will go quickly.

This is going to be my first stay in almost 2 years (had decided to do a DLR AP for a year instead and then the pandemic hit). Halloween has always been my favorite. Plus it's a birthday trip so I'll be there earlier than my normal cooler weather months, so a night time after sundown party is appealing.

I'm at Movies but didn't get the email, glad to know we're included. So do we call the main number?
