Mickey’s Dreamers and DGH: DLP 2006 - PROLOGUE (pre-trip report)

BACKGROUND

DGH frequent flyers program had some miles expiring soon, so DGH was so nice (ooops … so grumpy) to gift me a DLP vacation, taking advantage of the free airplanes tickets. Arrivals on January 2nd exploit a special offer(four nights for the price of three) and can still enjoy the Christmas season. So we booked those four nights.

I hate rain, I hate snow and, as you can imagine, DGH hates those as well.
I want a DRY vacation, so checked CNN/ Weather for the forecast: rain and snow all the time. I checked Italian weather forecast getting same result.
So I ASKED DGH to browse Internet forecast to find something better.
He found “Le Monde” forecast:

2 janvier Partiellement couvert. 3 °C / 7 °C
3 janvier Petites pluies en fin de journée. 1 °C / 8 °C
4 janvier Ensoleillé. 3 °C / 8 °C
5 janvier Plus ensoleillé que nuageux -3 °C / 2 °C
6 janvier Plus ensoleillé que nuageux -5 °C / 0 °C

OK, just one day with little rain. No snow! Lot of sun! Not even very cold most of the time of our trip! OK, print them out! I decided these were MY weather forecast…
