Pre-Trip & Background -

Ok so last year (9/29 - 10/02, 2005) I had a mid-life crisis trip disguised as my first solo trip and I had such a blast that when a friend mentioned she was traveling down for her birthday this year and offered to share her room I was THRILLED ... Soo I jumped aboard her B-day ship and started making plans.. OH and I kept this one a secret from everyone even now only a few people know I took this trip.. Haa and well now my closest 50,000 + friends – don’t tell anyone okay?

So my story really starts in June when Kristen e-mailed me a Disney question one day at work.. I answered her and then from there we talked daily about her trip and how lucky she was to be going again – this was to be her 3rd trip in less then a year (she went Nov 2005 w/ family and won a trip from work in May 2005) she then said “so if you want to come and pay half for the nights you are there I will share my room with you?” I was like “really?” and the wheels start turning then she says to me “if we go you can check out my New Fave place there – JellyRolls”.. Now of course being from here – the Dis – I had heard how much fun it is there and she confirmed that 10 fold saying how great of time she had in May and how much fun it was to watch Scotty.. so I am still sitting on the fence -go -don’t go- but at this point what is the use we all know when presented with an awesome deal like this you GO so Ok sign me up.. Haaa…. While we are waiting for the days to ever so slowly count down I remember the link that TLinden16 has for the Pianomen on her signature so I send it to Kristen and she finds out that Scotty along with his 2 brothers (Mike & Dave) have their own band – the Kilwein Family Tree-o so we head over to www.tree-o.com and check them out.. Liking what we hear we both buy their CD’s and when I do I send Mike a note asking him what turns out to be a really silly question – If he and Dave ever go to JellyRolls – Haa why is that silly, turns out they go there often .. but anyway back to the story, I asked because I wanted to have them sign my CD jackets while we are there celebrating Kristen’s b-day – geeky I know but that is me – Mike gets back to me and says sure they go there and have been known to help celebrate b-days too and then says he would meet up with us on the night of b-day party when we are at JellyRolls. Mike and I continue to e-mail each other a few times a week till the trip arrives building a nice & fun friendship. He seems like a great guy can’t wait to meet him in person ....



Ah here we are 9/27 the night before the trip I am super excited and have no one to talk to because the only other person who knew what I was doing was in Disney already !! So I am finishing packing as I had to continue all week like nothing was going on. Co-workers only knew I was taking off a few days and my kids & parents thought I was heading to NYC for the weekend. So I am doing some last minute packing and wishing I was there already we all know that feeling right ? So I get a text message from Kristen who is at JellyRolls already and she is telling me her family isn’t having that good of a time, I know hard to imagine but whatever, and they are ditching her – that made me mad , she was looking forward to spending time with them at her fave place and they were ditching her but anyway so she says she is out at the bus stop and 2 busses weren’t going her way (her family had already gone) so I say to her “go back in – who cares if you are alone – you love the place go and enjoy” so she say ok and heads back in.. I try to lay down and sleep but I can’t which is ok because she and I are still texting anyway.. I then get one that says “Mike is here” I was like NO way so unfair that she got to meet him first.. Mike informs her he can’t meet up tomorrow night as planned for the b-day party as he is on-call for work but can he meet us Friday night instead and she says sure. But they make plans for Mike to get her some sort of CM card on Thursday as her goal this trip was to see about getting a job at Disney so she can move there. And wouldn’t ya know when Mike gets home from meeting up with Kristen he sends me an e-mail that says “I saw the Birthday girl” twerp! Haa… ok it’s like 2:00 am must be up at like 6 to get my son on the bus then head off to MHT for my flight tomorrow well today… Haaa

This is a long day but not the longest one in my TR..
9/28 Kristen’s B-day !! I was up around 6 after going to bed around 2am wed night, all that darn texting! I left my house at about 7:20 and stopped for gas then headed towards the Saco turnpike entrance to drive myself to MHT . My flight was at 11:15 I had printed my boarding pass off at work Wed at 11:20am haa I was excited to go. The drive was smooth, I didn’t get lost which is a big deal for me! I got to MHT at 9:15 Haa exactly 2 hrs to my flight. I parked in long term C 9 for $8 per day, grabbed my backpack and suitcase to catch the bus to the terminal. I give my suitcase to the curbside check-in and headed off to my gate. I am really excited, don’t think I have mentioned that in a few lines - Ha. I board and fly... nothing interesting. Plane is full share a row with 2 other ladies, I have the window seat so pop in from the roots by the Kilwein Family Tree-o (KFTO) and fall asleep till we get close to landing. OMG I can’t wait to arrive, I am so excited - ha. When we land I text Kristen as she has her mom’s rental car to pick me up – she is just driving the loop & texting me as I wait to get my bag. When I head out of the airport she drives right up, we load my bag and we are off...Now she is still all dressed up and says that she never got to meet up with Mike because he got busy and couldn’t make it to give her the CM card and then they told her they are not hiring for what she wants anyway but to do it on the internet! Bummer for her but she seems ok with it so off to the hotel – All Star Music. Gosh it’s hot must change out of my Maine fall-wear!! We get to the room, relax a bit and get changed to hit Pleasure Island – I am excited I have never been there... we first meet up with Deb, Tara & John, we all ride together in Deb’s car. Shari meet us in DTD. We have dinner at the Rainforest Café and after dinner we leave the boys with Deb while Shari, Kristen, Tara, John and I walk over to PI . We get our bracelets and head off to get these beach buckets of YUMMY drinks (mine was like a blue Hawaiian, Kristen & Shari get some kind of Fruit Punch) as we are waiting to get them all we meet the 9 foot stilt walkers, it’s 2 guys dressed on stills dressed in costumes and lights, they are lots of fun. We walk to the adventures club – LAME , dance at 8 Trax FUN (Kristen got to Dance on her Birthday like a dream I had before we left) then head to the comedy warehouse(which come to find out is Mike’s fave place too bad he couldn’t meet up with us tonight). While going to get in line we meet up with the stilt guys again and they sandwich Kristen. It was soo FUNNY. Then we meet a group of 7 or so guys who call us the beach bucket girls while waiting in line for the Comedy Warehouse we are all laughing and say it’s Kristen’s b-day however stop talking to us when they find out how old Kristen is – I am thinking the 26 was a bit younger then they thought! LOL at the Comdey Warehouse they do a skit about a Leprechaun (which makes us –well Kristen and I - think of the song Just my Luck by the KFTO) after the show we decide to leave, it’s like 11ish – Shari gets on the bus to go home and Kristen and I head to JellyRolls. Its her b-day and that is what the original plans called for anyway I told her I didn’t care if I paid $8 only for an hour or so.. It was vacation and her b-day. Plus when we walked up to the busses the Boardwalk bus was right there! So we ride over pay our cover find a table on the floor to watch Christian and Pete close down the joint, they are awesome wish I got to see more of them. They recognize Kristen from the night before. We have fun. Lights come on at closing ah bummer I can’t wait to come back tomorrow night. We walked back up to the Boardwalk Bus Stop to wait for a bus to Downtown Disney to get our bus back to the All Star Music. We sat there for a good 15 or so minutes just talking and in that time one bus stopped and it had its lights off and the driver said he was done for the night. So we waited a bit more. another 10-15 minutes go by and a very kind man in a pink shirt and dress pants with a briefcase says "Oh you girls are still here" and we say "yea just waiting for a bus to Downtown Disney to get back to the All Star Music " He then says” I saw you earlier waiting" and we then say "yep a bus came by but had it's lights off and said it was his last run" The nice man then says "follow me I will get you a cab to the All Star Music" and we were like "ok Cool" so we follow him up the walkway (we bump into Pete and Tommy from JR and give them we are not worthy bow down and laugh) and hop into a cab and then the nice man tells the driver to come back and he will have the hotel pay for the fare, then he was gone .. I said to Kristen "Oh we should have gotten his name he needs a nice letter to guest services" so we get to ASMU and talk about the fun we had just like a sleep over... bedtime about 3:30sh AM we had big plans for Friday so we set the alarm for 7:30 AM.

Ok it’s another really long day but still not the longest one
9/29 7:30 am yea shut off the racket hit snooze a few times and we are up about 8 and off to the parks around 9 ish. First we get muffins and drinks from the café and then head out to the bus stop via the gift shop where Kristen spots Animal Drumsticks – OMG we have to get those for Dave... but must find something for Mike now (at this point he only has a Birthday Card – it is a funny one with little cartoon girls on the front with dash marks down the middle of the them and you open it and inside it says “there is a cut mark incase you only like one of us” and on either side of the cut marks it said happy birthday so Kristen and I each signed a side. I later added we owe him a gift because we couldn’t find one that fit the Muppet theme) so we catch the bus to the AK and decided on the ride we must get to the Muppet store in MGM to find Mike something that is Rowlf themed .. Not fair – Scotty gets a Kermit book we bought before we left here in Maine – Dave gets Animal Drumsticks that we just found and Mike well right now just a Card!! LOL... So we arrive to AK and I use Kyle’s ticket by mistake must go to guest services to get him a one day pass so he still will have 3 days... We head right to Mt. Everest only to find it down so we then head over to the safari have about a 8 -10 min wait however we get a row to ourselves that was sweet pictures with no extra heads in them!! When we get off we walk the tiger trail in Asia. Ok head back off to see if Everest oh bummer still down oh well. We head out and get a bus to MGM with only one thing on our minds must get to the Muppet store so Mike can have a Muppet item for his very own but we discover nothing for Rowlf the dog in Disney. Oh No what to do... we decide I will find something for Mike back at home and mail it to him. Now we head to Epcot for the Food & Wine Festival. We take the boat over from MGM and get off at the Beach Club and walk over using the International gate way. We decide to taste some wine, I am not a wine drinker but boy I had a yummy one! It was Nalewka Babuni Raspberry Wine ($3.00) and Kristen had Mission Hill Reserve Riesling Icewine ($4.75) OMG they were good and strong!! We continue around the worlds and I get Baklava too. Then we head back to the hotel to change for our FUN night which will be spent at JellyRolls We decided to get the bus to MGM then ride the boat to the Swan and walk to Big River for dinner, we end up sitting at the bar which was fine we had good service and the food came out pretty quickly (I get the Chicken Caesar Salad w/ a Pina Colada & Kristen gets the Mahi Mahi Caesar Salad w/ a chambord) We then head up to the front desk of the Boardwalk to find out the Mgr on Duty from last night and after a lot of leg work from Diane we get the nice man’s name who help us out last night – Trevor, thanks again for getting us home safely! We end up at JellyRolls around 7ish so we sit outside and enjoy the warm evening and talk, we decide I will give the bag of presents to Scotty if Mike forgets them. At around 7:30 we go in get a table – the same one as Thursday night and settle in to wait for the night to start... It was soo MUCH fun, I can’t even describe how much fun I had... On Friday night it was Tommy & Michael for the first set and then Scotty and Jason for the second ones... I sang loudly and probably badly but it didn’t matter, I didn’t care really haa .. What can I say – I know why everyone raves about Scotty – he is cute and funny on stage, I will say a true entertainer. I will say the same about Jason – not quite as animated but he was great as well and I think they make an awesome team.. When Mike got there he came over – kneeled in between us so the people behind him could see the stage – very thoughtful of him - he gave out hugs , then he and Kristen started talking so I didn’t say much then he said he had some friends sitting up behind us from VA he had to chat with but he would be back for a bit before he left. So in thinking about it now I am pretty we SANG every song ALL night EVERY night we were there... I am sure we gave someone some good laughs like when Scotty was doing the Disney Melody of IASW, Zip a Dee do dah, FANTASMIC - which Kristen and I hollered about, Scotty just looked at us and Jason said there aren’t any words we said Yea we know and Scotty says you know its Fantasmic and we nodded! - and ended it with COP song which again we hollered about!! Haaa. Then Kristen and I took turns going to the ladies room, we didn’t want anyone to steal our seats. See around 9ish a HUGE group of people came in and crammed about 20 people at 2 four person tables and were stealing all the chairs they could. I was soo crammed in that I couldn’t even hardly move and the guy sitting next me kept moving over closer and closer to me so that his chair kept slamming my elbow every time he moved!! So she went first and then I saw Mike head out back to the closets where the Pianomen hang out till it’s their turn to play I assume to get Scotty so he could say Hi their friends from VA and when she came back I said “I hope Mike & Scotty don’t come out the door as I am going up the steps” and I laugh, well as my luck would have it I am going up the steps and out of the door way comes Mike and Scotty.. Haa I bust a gut but they are men on a mission and are bee-lining it to the VA friends. When I got back Mike had come down and told Kristen he was doing surveillance and noticed she was alone so he was keeping her company till I got back. When I get to the table and I decide I am not climbing over him (he was kneeled down again) so I go to sit on the other side of Kristen and he is like “No Michelle come over here to your seat” I was like “haa ok” and slip in between him and my chair. He says he will meet up with us tomorrow at the park of our choice because he wanted to spend some time with us. So we make plans to call him in the morning and let him know what park we are heading too . Kristen then tells him she wants a Tree-o T for her b-day signed by all the members of the band and Mike says “what color” and she says “um Green” then says “what size” and I see her thinking so I say “are they Men’s sizes” and he says “Well that is all I know” haa – haa good one. Then he got up to leave he passed out hugs again however I was standing in front of the chair with the seat bumping my knees I was leaning up over it trying to hug a 6 foot guy and he says – “Michelle come on hug me like you mean it!” I was laughing and trying to tell him I am short – like 5 feet and the chair was in my way but it was loud and he said “I feel like I am at a school dance” and held his arms way out like you know school dances in like 7th grade Haa so I tried again but not much better – oh man, thinking back now I should have just kneeled on the chair. Kristen and I stayed till closing and Mike forgot his bag of presents, so I am all set to bring them to Scotty at the end of then night. During one of their sets Jason had to sing – Man I feel like a Woman and It’s raining men so he said “I am gonna sing these back to back and get the double dose of estrogen out of my system all at once” so he sings them and it’s good! Crowd is wild haa and then A$$ of a man sends him up a napkin that says – Jason’s Man Card is Revoked… when he read it to the crowd, he was caught our eye and we both were like AWWW that isn’t right...But Jason says he saves some of his funnier napkins and was going to save it so in his pocket it went with the one that earlier in the night he got that asked for --- Reign of fire instead of RING of fire.. Haa … Here is another funny story that night, Jason and Scotty were singing Paradise by the Dashboard Lights and Scotty was singing the girl part and Jason was the guy part. They got to the part of “What’s it gonna be boy” and a girl walked up to give Jason money and a napkin and he watched her walk up and down with the How you doin look not really paying attention to what Scotty was doing – haa - so Scotty was singing his lines and then says “what is that about” and Jason was like “she was giving me money” and Scotty says “well I am offering you .. Um Companionship...” Haaa OMG Kristen and I were laughing soo hard!! It was great!! Oh another story at one point during another set when Jason and Scotty were playing, someone at a table to the right of us was throwing crumbled dollar bills at Jason. The bouncer (a girl-sorry don’t know her name) would pick them up, smooth them out and put them up on the piano and they must have thought it was really funny so they kept on doing it after the 3rd time Scotty stopped playing and singing so that caused Jason to stop as well and Scotty was like “That is soo RUDE stop throwing the money at the stage either get up or don’t give it” you could tell that Scotty was really upset by that and it irritated to beyond the breaking point (and Jason gave him the hey man thanks look) During the last set Kristen sends up $20 for Scotty to play his fave song and I send $20 up for Jason. They are both like Hey I just got $20 to play my fave song and they are very appreciative of that... nice to know you can make the Pianomen happy at the end of the night for making you happy all night! So at closing when the lights came on Kristen grabbed the bag and headed to the stage to give them to Scotty, it was funny because I thought I was going to do it but whatever it’s all good just have to make sure the presents get to the right people. She stood to the side of the stage talking while he cleaned up his piano and he whipped around so quick when he heard the word presents!! LOL then he asked if he could peek HAA I wanted to bust a gut it was so funny. Kristen said Yep but yours is wrapped and he asked where Mike’s was twice LOL and said you know it’s his birthday next week, yep we know. Then he ask what we are doing tomorrow and Kristen tells him that we are meeting up with Mike tomorrow at one of the parks and if he wants to join us he is more then welcome to but he says he can’t. So we say good bye and out we go... VERY GOOD and SUPER FUN night... the bus comes almost right away and we hop on and the driver takes us to right to the hotel. Again it is like we are having a sleep over and bed time again is like 3:30ish... we decided to get up around 9ish and meet Mike at Epcot around 11ish

Ok here is the longest day only because I pulled almost an all nighter!

9/30 and 10/1 because I didn’t sleep so it was almost a 24 hr day!! We got up around 9:30ish, call Mike and say we are going to Epcot and make plans to meet him at 11:30, grab breakfast on the way out to the bus stop bus to MGM then take the Boat to BC and walk to the International Gateway again. We get there before Mike and right at 11:30 – I am never on time haa and I am not feeling that well... no sleep, nerves and boat ride I think but oh well I am in Disney and with good friends. Kristen is laying on a bench and I stand facing the walkway watching for Mike. I see Mike coming up the walkway and smile, he smiles and waves like maybe I was smiling at someone else or I didn’t see him – Crazy head.. I tell Kristen she might want to sit up before he gets completely there but too late he saw her then says to ”laying down – too much to drink?” and she says “no” he was like “huh” and she is like “I don’t drink” and so he looks at me and I said “just soda” and we all laugh. As we get in line and walk into Epcot he says “Oh Thanks for the Card I loved it” Kristen says something about it being Cheesy then he was like oh not cheesy but we were laughing and saying it was ok we knew he would like it and then he turns to me and says “it was on the table this morning when I got up and I was like Hey how did Val – that is our sister – get a card here she isn’t coming till next week, who’s handwriting was that on the envelope” and I say “me” and he says “your handwriting is just like my sister Val’s” Haa and I say “I laughing at it in the grocery store and knew you would like it” and he said to me “did you get it today”... Now I was thinking – how could I possibly gotten it today and had it on his table this morning without knowing where he lives. Haa so I just said “no I got it before I left” and he was laughing – maybe it sunk in what he asked... We are walking through England Me, Kristen, Mike and they are talking music cause Kristen gave mike her CD (she has recorded one song and gave a copy of it to Mike when he meet up with us. She was very nervous about this and it was huge for her to do it ) Mike says “I have all I can do not to run right back out to my car and listen now” and I am just listening and watching them – Kristen looking at her feet cause she is self conscious about giving it to mike and mike is talking and tapping his forehead when he says stuff about her using her brain and being smart. So to include me Kristen says “well if you ask Michelle she will say it’s good” so I was like “Yea I like it but I don’t know anything about music except it has a good beat and is catchy so that is why I like it”. Mike laughs and we get talking about the card again and how he didn’t get a present. (He wanted to know why we got Scotty a book – a Kermit Book- apparently he doesn’t read much! LOL) so Kristen says “Michelle will tell you the story so I say Well when you were on vacation I sent Scotty a note and asked if you had the second book in your Peter series to go with your other one and he said back to me – AS I sit at Mike’s computer, and take a gander at his bookshelf, I do see he has Peter and the Shadow Thieves. So I was like oh well out of ideas and don’t know what to do now” and mike says “funny let me tell you how I got the second book – the author just sent it to me when it was released like a pre order” and Kristen looks at me and I am looking at them both and she laughs and I said “see I told you” Mike is like “what tell me” So I say “well when Scotty sent me back that note I said to Kristen I was sure you had it on pre order so the second it came out you got it” he was like “NO Way” and I was like “Yep promise” so he walks closer to me and leans in and pointing at himself then me and says “its like a mirror” .. Haa I laughed soo hard!!! He is a character! We go into the land to get our fast passes for Soarin and him and Kristen are talking about Sat night live & more cowbell, then something about him beingTour Guide Barbie Haa and then about Kitchen Kabaret and Food Rocks and he gives us these pins --- they are sealed in plastic and have the 7 dwarfs on them and says “you both have homework.. You need to take these pins and trade them with CM for another pin and report back on how the service was in 300 words or less and you can’t carry over the extra words Michelle” I was like “Hey I only sent you 2 emails when you were gone only 2!!!” we are walking towards Journey into imagination and we get talking about the Muppet note that Kristen sent and he was like “WHAT I didn’t get that one” and we are like “yes you all 3 got it” so he was like “I have to go back and look for it there were like 270 emails from when I was on vacation” and he looked at me and I said “Dude I told you only 2 were mine!!” Haa... so he said “you sent a note about the Muppets” and so Kristen went on to tell him about how I found the book for Scotty that she bought and we read some of it and picked which Muppets they were.. so he was like “ok of course Dave is Animal” (Dave is the drummer in their band) and we laugh and say “yep” and he says “Scotty is Kermit” and again we laugh and say “Yep” and then he says in a very serious voice “If you say I am Miss Piggy I am going to be soo mad at both of you” Haa we laughed so hard and shook our heads no so then he says “Um Skeeter?” I say “nope” and Kristen say “think about it” so then he is like “Oh Rowlf” and we laugh and say right! Then he says “you know he plays the piano?” haa we laugh again and say “yea” and then he goes “I even have on brown today” and tugs his t-shirt... haa good lord my stomach hurts now from laughing so much.. So we get up to the ride and he is leaning on the rail and Kristen and I are facing him and he says “We are all riding in the same row” “Ok” we say and then he says “and I am sitting in the middle so I can talk to you both” Haa so I say “you are going to be talking on the ride?” he is like “well no but I want to sit in the middle” then the guy says “how many” and mike says “3” and he says “row 1” and Mike kind of moves so I have to go first and off I go so I missed what he said and did to Kristen which was, she moved to get ready to walk when it was her turn and Mike thought she was going second and turned to her and said “WAIT” and walked behind me and hopped in and then she got in.. She said it was wicked funny that he thought she might take the middle spot... we all were singing away to the songs haa it was fun. When we got off the ride he walked us outside and said “so where are you going tonight” and Kristen at the speed of light said “JellyRolls of course” and he goes “of course, Ok well I will meet you over there for a little bit but I have to go now” So we say “ok glad you hung out with us for a while” and he says “don’t forget your homework and have fun on Soarin” And gives out hugs again...We walk over to TT and take a ride in the single rider lane and end up in the same car and in the same row... then we get lunch – Kristen is hungry , me I still don’t feel well so I say ok we can go you eat I will rest and we are laughing and talking about how much fun we had with Mike. It’s killing her knowing that Mike has listened to her CD now so she sends him a text and we continue talking then in the next second she laughs and pulls out her phone Mike had just texted back – I can’t hear you, Jamming to your CD on repeat … LMAO well now Kristen is all freaked about the repeat thing . I do my best to calm here by saying you know he is dissecting it – WHAT she says... I am like oh I mean listening to all the layers and stuff... but you can tell she is very nervous now. Too late he has it – and has listened repeatedly… so we decided enough fun for the day lets go back to the hotel to rest before JellyRolls...We rest for like an hour, make Jason a present, then get ready, get the bus to MGM, get the boat to the Swan and walk to JellyRolls. When we get there Shannon is there and I am like “hey Shannon is Jason working tonight” and she is like “I truthfully never know who is working when, why?” and I say “remember last night when that guy wrote on the napkin he was revoking Jason’s man card” and she is like “yea” I said “look at what we made him” I pull out the Man Card she is laughing hysterically... Now when we went back to the room to rest we decided to make him one as a funny, he would laugh and it would be appreciated so we were just going to trace a room key to paper and make it but when I grabbed my back pack for the markers I had (for the KFTO to sign my cd jackets which never got done either!) I remembered it was new and there was on of those little lost and found cards in it... it was soo perfect one side blank the other had name address phone and in case of emergency .. so Kristen says you “write it you have better hand writing” “Ok” I say “but I can’t spell irrevocable” so she says “I can. You write, I spell.”.. Ok… so on the blank side in orange I write JASON’S MAN CARD on the top on the bottom I write EXPERATION DATE : NEVER and in the middle in red I write IRREVOCABLE and then on the back of the card in emergency contact I write—your new friends Michelle & Kryss ! … So we go in, tonight we sit up from the floor next to the bar and wait to see who is playing tonight. Over walks Tommy Bell – he is the older guy of the group... super nice starts chatting with us, we chat about where we live and how he likes the cold weather and how we don’t then he heads off to the closets... and then just as the night is getting ready to begin Michael comes over and introduces himself and shakes our hands as we do the same and he says something about what are we drinking and we both say water and he laughs and says why and we answered something about its more fun to be sober watching all the drunk people plus it leaves more for the Pianomen and he laughs then says ok time to get playing.. haa well in walks Jason, Kristen was facing that way so she say “hey Jason is here” so I whip around and am like yeah! So when he comes by he is “hey you are here again” I say “yea we have something for you” so while I am talking and getting out our gift we have made for him Scotty has come in gone around the long way and has opened the door to look at us talking to Jason like what are they doing and I am smiling 1) cause of what I am getting for Jason and 2) because I can tell Scotty wants to know what is going on but won’t come out and see, haa so he closes the door before I get the card out and is gone. I get Jason’s card out of my purse and hand it to Jason and he is like a kid who just got the best present ever.. He was like haa “omg that is soo nice of you” and I say “you can keep it in your wallet so you can show people that your Man Card can’t be taken away” And we are all laughing and he says “well would it be ok if I brought it home and hung it on my cork board?” We are like “YEAH!” And then he says “I can’t wait to get out back and show Scotty”… haa OMG that was funniest thing we laughed so hard at that comment... so he says he has to go get ready and bye and off he goes. Then in a matter of a minutes out comes Scotty to say thanks for the book he was funny he flies out of the back and was like “Wow Thanks so much for the book I read it , its pretty funny” and I say “you read the whole thing?” (because of what Mike said earlier in the day – that Scotty doesn’t read Haa) and he says “um well no just some of it” hee hee so then he says “I hear Mike’s card was funny but I didn’t get to see it” and I was like “it was so cheesy but I figured he liked that kind of stuff” and there is more laughing because Scotty says “yea cheesy is Mike’s thing” then he says so “where did you get the book” and he is looking at Kristen – she was the one who paid and wrote in it—but so far I had been doing the talking haa so we both say “Borders”.. Then she adds “in stereo” haa so I say “sorry I won’t say anymore” haa... then he is like ok well gotta go get ready so off he runs... It was funny how we got to meet all the Pianomen tonight... Haa haa so the night goes on and big groups of already drunken women come in and poor Scotty that kid endures a lot up there… at one point some vulture got up there shaking her stuff and slobbering all over the money or napkin that she was waving in Scotty’s face and this time it was Jason to the rescue.. He was like – “Ok that is just disgusting keep your spit to yourself” or something to that effect that the piano men do not want it – not that I think drunken vulture had a clue he was talking to her but OMG people have a little decency! Tonight we also gave them $50 to play 2 songs although it was on one napkin and Kristen brought it up to Scotty first who said they couldn’t do one of the song –it was I will survive... so she came back we changed it to Save a Horse Ride a Cowboy and anything Elvis then brought it to Jason. So Jason does Save a Horse Ride a Cowboy and Scotty choose Blue Suede shoes for his Elvis song . Jason was soo appreciative that when his set was done he came out and gave Kristen his CD and said “thanks so much whatever whatever” I wasn’t completely listening cause I was listening to Tommy and Michael play. Just before his next set I walk by him on my way back from the ladies room and was like “Jason I was looking at your Cd you gave Kristen and are you on Myspace?” he was like “yea are you?” and I was like “ya I thought I saw your CD jacket someplace. So is there a link on there so can buy your cd? and he was like “oh I would just give you one but I don’t think I have another one with me” and I was like “ok I will just buy one when I get home tomorrow” so he says “is Kristen is staying a few more days?” and I say “yep”and so he say “take hers and I will bring her one on Monday” I say “thanks” and they call him up on stage.. so I get back to my seat and Kristen is laughing holding out the CD and says “how come that always happens you get to listen to the new cd’s first?” I say “ just lucky I guess” (when Mike mailed out our tree-o ones I got them both 1 day before Kristen and tortured her by saying how great there were – this was no different!! Haa) the night goes on and then Kristen spots Mike he goes to the left looking for us on the floor like last night and we are on the right tonight she gets up to go get him and I lose track of where she goes and can’t see Mike either so I have no clue where they are she is gone for 5 -10 minutes (they were discussing her cd!) According to Kristen they were behind me most of the time but because I had lost track of her I had no clue. Yep that is me most of the time Clueless. Mike tells her to sit and then says “wait haa watch this” apparently he knows I am CLUELESS and then all of a sudden I feel a hand on my left shoulder and the words “Is that seat Taken” as I am whipping around to look up at who is touching me I am feeling kind of paniced that I have no clue where Kristen or Mike are but I was VERY glad to see it was Mike! However what do I say “you scared the crap out of me!” oh very lady like Michelle Good one! haa haa. So then he says “was that smooth or what” haa I say “yea soooo smooth” he says to me “Oh I won you $10” and then Kristen is like “No you lost her $10” (we bet he would forget the T-shirt – I said he would bring it, oops) and he asks “Michelle did you do your homework” OH NO I didn’t do mine... haa so I am just looking up at him and he says “so you didn’t do it” and I was like “No “ he was like why not and I was like “um” he says “ok that is it you need to go find someone here in this room to trade the pin with” and I was like “WHAT here now?” oh no and then he is looking at me watching him and apparently he can read minds too because he leans in to say – “you know I am only kidding” and I nod and he says “ok because you are looking at me with puppy dog eyes that are saying oh no Mike please don’t be mad at me” Phew works everytime !! Haa – Also at some point when he was there because DUH things fly out of my mouth sometimes I said “so do we pass the test” and mike is like “what test” and I say the “Road Trip test – so you can come to Maine for a show” and he is like “oh geez it getting pretty busy for us with the holiday’s and some other stuff in December” so he says “would it be ok if it’s Me and Dave” and Kristen goes “well then it wouldn’t be a trio” ( tree-o hee hee nice play on words ) then we laugh and he says “Ok I have to go and you have a good flight be safe and stay away from the guys traveling alone” and I was like “huh” he says “well whenever I fly I always try to sit next to the cute girl traveling by herself” and I am like “Who is the cute girl”.. And he just looks at me and smiles... oh me – silly right. So Kristen and I are trying to get the crowd in it and they were rotten most of the nighTonight we watched Shannon bust her tail... she hauled 2 people off the stage along with a bunch of feet. She got a girl down off a chair who was trying to dance up there and she also stopped what might been a fight or maybe it was just a clump of drunks trying to dance? Haa we again did the $20 for each for Jason and Scotty during their last set and then all too soon the lights were up and the night was done. Jason and Scotty say good night be safe blab blab and then stand up to clean their pianos off and this group of drunk girls RUSH the stage to Scotty – He takes a step back – bumps his microphone trying to get away. They came at him soo fast, poor kid.. Well Kristen and I are standing up finishing our water just watching. They ask if he will pose for a picture and he points them to the front of the piano, he continues to clean up, they in the meantime try to get up on it, one has trouble so when he comes around she must have asked if he would help her up – I see an eye roll and then he laces his fingers and gives her a heave up then gets in nice and close – like I said POOR kid – he is looking up at us – well we are laughing and he eye rolls and smiles and click goes picture one then they decided then need a second one.. He is looking at them like GET AWAY I hope those stupid girls see that in the photos when they are sober but who knows. So the second that one is taken step one he is off the stage, step two up the set of 3 stairs , step three in the door leading to the closets! Kristen and I are all amazed he is fast!! VULTURES!! He never once said one word to those girls, his lips never moved. So we finish our waters and head out of JR as we are sauntering down the Boardwalk almost down to Big river... all of a sudden we hear “HEY GUYS!” and we glance at each other as we turn in towards each other to look over our shoulders to see who is yelling and if they are yelling at us.. What we see is Scotty looking for us. Maybe he thought we were waiting for him inside when we were watching the vultures attack him. So we don’t know what to do/say so we both say “um bye” and wave and he then has an Eeyore moment – head and shoulders slump as he slowly turns back around but Kristen yells “HEY Scotty” so he walks towards us and we walk towards him too & all meet up then we were chatting about stuff and Kristen goes so”Mike didn’t give you the T-shirt” and he is like “um” and she says “the one for my birthday that all you guys were all supposed to sign” and he looks at her and says “Who Me and My Brothers” haa haa we laugh and say “Yea” and then Kristen pipes up with “No you and the mouse in your pocket” HAAA now we glance at each other and laugh and he is just calming waiting for us to give out pats on the back then he leans in, pats his pocket and says “I didn’t know you knew about the mouse in my pocket” HAAHAAHAAA OMG I am almost busting a gut – it was priceless the look on her face and his really cause he knew he just won!! Funny Kid! She is like “um well um the other mouse told me” then just stopped talking altogether. Haa OMG it was soo funny then we get talking again and Kristen says she is here till Tues but I was catching the bus to the airport at 4 am this morning (its after 2 now!) so he tells me thanks for coming ,thanks for the requests, have a safe trip and all that kind of stuff then we all say good bye and he goes back into the building. Well that was interesting. Another Wicked Fun night with Good friends so we go to the bus stop and the driver takes us right to All Star Music. I finish packing my stuff, take a shower change hopeing it will wake me up some – remember I am old and have been up since 9:30 am the day before – then I go out to the bus... while I am waiting I send mike a text thanking him for being so nice and hanging out with us . I am super tired and can’t wait to get on the bus, to the airport and on the plane. I sleep the whole bus ride – not even sure if anyone sat beside me. I couldn’t even help it if I wanted to! I was soo TIRED. I get to the airport drop my suitcase curbside, get some McD’s, coffee and a bottled water then pop in Jason’s CD (which is awesome www.jacemusic.com and sit to wait for boarding.. So I have boarding pass C which in Southwest language means you just get what is left on the plane for seats after A & B have boarded... oh well I get in line – there is a younger man (late 20’s early 30’s) in front of me and when we get on when he sees a window seat with 2 pretty Blond girls in the middle and isle and asks to sit with them.. Made me think of Mike, thanks for the laugh kid! I find an isle seat and hope that the people sitting there don’t need to get out because I am crashing fast... up at 9:30 am Sat its now 6:30 ish Sunday am with about an hour nap on the bus.. I haven’t done an all nighter in forever!! Well now I have, LOL... I bet I am sleeping before take off and don’t wake up till we get almost to MHT... we get in on time and get my suitcase, go to the shuttle , get in my car and prepare for the 2 hour drive home. Ah home --- what a weekender!!!
I had so much fun this trip, I meet some really super wicked nice people and wouldn’t have changed anything about it except maybe stayed a little longer if I could have  As you can see if you read this whole thing we spent a lot of time with Mike and at JellyRolls w/ Scotty & Jason that was the reason the trip was as good as it was! I highly recommend if you get a chance go to JellyRolls and visit both of the guys websites for some great music (www.jacemusic.com and www.tree-o.com ) or look them up on myspace. I am planning my next solo trip which is really solo, my friend can’t come with me this one but I am sure it will be fine – look for in JellyRolls jamming along with the Pianomen!

Wow, that was (all in one thread). Glad you had a great time. I'll have to remember to save even more money now for my trip if I want to tip as good as you did. I liked your explanation-they made your night great at Jellyrolls, so why not give them a great tip.

Yes tipping the Pianomen well is a must for me! They all are so great - I know I didn't talk much about Michael and Tommy but they did a WONDERFUL JOB as well.. I also didn't include the parts of the night when all 4 of them come out 2 play and all 4 sing and they make the crowd participate in group dances -- the tree dance and the land of 1000 dances which are sooo much fun and they haul people up if friends submit napkins requesting them to get on stage and have happy birthday sung to them.. It is such a fun place to be, I can't wait to go back. Thanks for reading the whole thing I know it was SUPER long!! Michelle

Great report! I always feel so bad for the guys when the drunken chicks rush them at the end of the night. Scotty gets the worst of it, for sure!

I'm sorry I'll miss you on your next trip! I'm heading down Jan 26-30, so I won't get to meet you . It's too bad, as I'm always looking for people to go to Jellyrolls with! Maybe next time...

Wow Michelle what are you doing next Nov. the first weekend? P89 and I are doing the food and wine fest at Epcot. No kids. Sounds like you would fit right in with us. Trying to convince RER to attend too! Plus the August trip too! Start saving!
