Yes, this has been their living arrangement for some time. They ARE still married, and since California is a community property state, any property that Katherine inherits from her son's estate will pass to Joe if she dies. He still has a very large vested interest, and being who he is, I'm sure that he will do whatever he has to to keep his hand in, including moving back to Los Angeles.

The person that cares is the one who would have access to the money in the estate. MJ had massive amounts of debt when he dies, estimated into the hundred millions. Since his death, his cds, old record albums, songs etc. have been selling out and playing non-stop. It is estimated that his upcoming royalties for the sales & continuous playing of his song catalogue can wipe out his debt and create a fortune for his estate.

Since those children are named as his heirs, the money follows the children. Whoever gets to care for the children, whether by petitoning the court that they are the "rightful parents," will be sitting pretty on easy street, wallowing in the children's money. The caretakers need to keep the children living in the lifestyle they were accustomed to. So the caretakers get to live the high life, too.

Sounds like the whole Anna Nicole mess all over again.....

Whether they're biologically his or not, since he raised them, they're his.

A will was produced late yesterday that was dated in 2002. Some people think there are other wills.

There's no shame in open, honest discussions. Most of the information in this thread debunks the rumors making the rounds and is educational and informative. This is a really good thread and the posters have been respectful.

Back on topic, the memorial and funeral are supposed to happen this weekend, according to CNN. It's a 120-mile trip from LA to Neverland and the Jacksons have a procession planned. I hope they don't make the kids sit in a limo all that way. Have them meet the procession at Neverland or helicopter them in - that's a long time for little kids to sit and listen to adult chatter under such trying circumstances.

I did not read all the posts but am surprised. I thought the kids did look like MJ. Regardless of if they are bio kids or not he was their dad.

Say what you will about him the one thing he did right is to keep those kids from the puplic eye. Other celebrities could really learn from his example. He still took them places just hide their faces.

I find it inexcusable that a judge gave any kind of custody to the grandparents. The abuse all the Jackson kids took from their father, physical and emotional, is well documented. I understood MJ had a will and a gardian chosen for the kids.

It doesn't matter, based on what we've discussed in this thread. They were married at the time that the older kids were born, so therefore they're both considered the parents for life. The youngest son is in a similar situation because of California surrogacy laws. Legally AND emotionally, they are MJ's children.

Was stated today on HLN that Debbie Rowe annouced that she is the kids biological mother she was never a surrogate mom. This statement was made on her behalf through an attorney.

I agree they look just like their mother.

How do we know what any of them really look like? The whole family has had plastic surgery. Think of what MJ looked like in the Jackson 5 days, that's the real him. These kids don't look anything like that. I think he looked for a donor that would look like him post surgery.

I am thinking about him as an older teen and young man sfter he lost his baby fat and before the surgeries. They don't look identical to him but they do resemble him.

With all the accusations- trials and payoffs- he will be talked about for MANY years. He was a musical genius and a very troubled soul- a tortured artist personified. To expect nobody to talk about him because he's dead is ridiculous.

I was a huge fan on MJ growing up. LOVE his off the wall album and Thriller was GREAT!! There has been alot being said about him for years.Now with his death there is so much more. People are going to talk about him.
I loved his music and only he and god know what really went on in his life. I was furious when he hung "blanket" out a window If he was in the states when that happen maybe child services would have done something.I don't know if he did those things to children.(rumors floating now about the 90's Child saying his father made him lie)so no one really knows.

Those are his kids. He was married to Debbie Rowe when she had both of the oldest children. So that makes them his children no matter if there is a DNA match or not.These are his kids DNA or not. I saw why he masked them when there were out with him.So when the nanny or someone else took them out they would be noticed and could have a good time. Yes he did get stranger and stranger.But he loved those kids and he did all he could to make them have the childhood he was not allowed to have.

Have you seen photos of Dr. Klein, the sperm donor? Those kids look exactly like him, especially Prince Michael 1. Those kids look nothing like any Jackson I've ever seen.
