Just returned from seeing MIB2 and it was greeeeeeat. Such fun, better than the first. It felt like I was watching a comic book. Don't miss it.

Awesome!! I can't wait to see it! My son and I have a "date" tomorrow. Hope it's not sold out!

The only thing bad about the movie that I have heard it is just more of the same MIB. No New ideas, just a rehash of the first version.
Uh... What's wrong with that? :smooth:

HAVE FUN

see now, I saw MIB2 tonight and thought the first movie was better. Nothing really new in the sequel. Even Lara Flynn Boyle was kinda ho-hum as the villain. And they realllllly brushed off the ending of the first film (i.e., what happened to Linda Fiorentino's character).

My family thought it was funny but it lacked substance. Too many little things going on and not enough thought put into developing the plot, which had potential. Might be worth seeing again to catch what we missed the first time though. Things might make more sense.

We, too, saw it last night and thought it was great fun---very entertaining. So many lines were LOL funny, the special effects great and both Will Smith and Tommy Lee Jones were great. I don't expect a ton from these types of movies so I am always pleasantly surprised how enjoyable they are. Two thumbs up here!

When J is explaining to Zed why he keeps neurolizing his partners.. he says that she wanted to go back to the morgue.

I was a little disappointed but it was entertaining. I enjoyed the first one much more.

The original was considerably better in my opinion. The strength of the J's character building as he went from street smart to wide-eyed rookie to seasoned MIB veteran was a great journey. The crisp coolness of K's character was also very entertaining in the original.

K (even after the de-nueralization) has a flat presence in MIB2. The story is "forced" in order to attempt to give the film some substance. Otherwise (to me), it's a series of "throwaway bits" aimed at getting a quick laugh. The chemisty built between K and J in MIB isn't rekindled for this one. That's too bad.

And, it's over in what - about an hour and 15 minutes??

I was very disappointed.

Luckily for me I read these kind of reviews BEFORE seeing the film so my expectations where MUCH lower, so I truly enjoyed it!

The references to NYers cracked me up. I was sitting there cracking up in a Chattanooga Tennessee theatre at things that were clueless about!! LOL!

I LOVE TLJ and Will Smith, so I'm not biased, no not at all. Frankly, they could read the Ten Commandments to me and I'll watch with bated breath. I'm glad they didn't change too much and it would've been impossible to be as original as the original. It was one of a kind.

Robin,
I am glad you liked it too. Isn't it fun just to go to a movie and be entertained?

I thought it was really funny, but lacked the clever plot of the first one. I also could've taken a little less Frank the Pug... but overall, it made me laugh, so it was still a good movie.

we went and saw it last night and really enjoyed it! are there any promotions going on at the park for the movie?
