Miami Transfers From Airport to Disney Affiliated Pre-Cruise Hotel

Hey everyone, there are a few threads on Miami transfers but they all seem to address transfers from the hotels to port the morning of the cruise. I'm curious how the transfers work from the airport to the hotel (booked through DCL) pre-cruise. I've called and the 2 people I spoke with have no idea, and said that they would probably notify you. Not wanting to trust that and not wanting to wait the crazy phone time getting ahold of DCL these days, does anyone with experience know?
Wondering how you connect with the DCL transfers after flight arrival and claiming luggage.
Any help would be appreciated! Thanks so much!

When we did that in San Diego they had a private car pick us up at the airport.

We just cruised out of Miami and stayed the night before at the DCL hotel-booked with DCL. In our case it was the EB Miami. We arrrived the day before our cruise. You have to claim your own luggage. The EB Miami had their own free shuttle, so once your luggage was claimed, you made your way down to where transportation was-taxis etc. and called the hotel. In about 15 minutes, the shuttle arrived and took us to the hotel, which was about 5 minutes away.
