Oh man.. I did something dumb today.. really dumb...
I was driving my van with the kids inside to the post office.... I had a horrid headache.. I was stopped at a red light behind a tan pickup truck. I closed my eyes and leaned my head on the window.. I said to myself I should not do this.. I will roll forward..
{I have Hand controls.. which are sensitive to any movement...}
not 2 seconds later BANG! I rolled into the truck. Oh dear lord.. angry man-driver approached van.. He looked at me, looked at his truck.. no damage,.. I was trying to get my cane so I could get out of the van.. he looked at me.. I kept saying " I am so sorry, are you ok?" He said he was fine and there was NO damage to either vehicle.. Thank goodness....He got back in his truck... "Have a nice Thanksgiving" I said.. and he waved back..
Nice guy.. he could have been a big jerk..

So dumb Joan cried like a baby in the Post office parking lot.. nerves I guess. My headache was now gone! I took the kids to my favorite cafe for lunch.
I sure hope that man has a nice Thanksgiving.

No one was hurt - the vehicles weren't damamged - and the man turned out to be a nice guy..

Maybe this will help. One day I was at the bank, I had just gotten back into my car. I put the car in drive, instead of reverse, and went over the parking curb thingies. I was wearing clogs that day and accidently pushed the gas when I wanted to push the brakes.

I got my car stuck there, my dad and bf came and rescued me. I never wore clogs to drive in again, and I try and make sure I'm going in the right direction before I hit the gas. lol

Awwwww. . I bet it was a bit traumatic and embarrassing Joan, but we've all had little temporary mental lapses like that. . . and considering the headache it's certainly understandable. .
