with DS 5 1/2 next Saturday. I will rent a stroller so he doesn't wear his little self out walking in the heat. We are FL residents and coming for just the day/driving home later (90 minutes away), otherwise I'd take him back to a hotel.

Is there a nice shady spot at MGM where I can let him take a little nap in his stroller? He's so excited about SWW but he's going to need to charge his batteries a little.

Also, are the Little Mermaid and Beauty and the Beast shows inside in the AC? That would help us out too.

Thanks guys. I'm so bummed. This one day is probably my one and only day at Disney this year and I'm dying to go back for more. Had to send the kids to summer camp, etc.

Mermaid is inside. Very cool and dark (if a bit "damp" at times).

B&B is NOT air conditioned. Theatre is covered (95%+ of the seats) and there are fans... but if its HOT, the theatre is not "cool" at all.

Finding shaded areas with benches is not too hard.
Perhaps sitting in the a/c of the "Commisary" self-service restaurant for an hour or so would be a good idea. Its rather large and there are plenty of seats.

Thanks. DS is so excited and can't wait to go. Normally we stay over night but things are tight so I get to drive home after Fantastmic, if he can stay up for it. I know he'll love the Mermaid show, we watch LM at bedtime sometime. We have to sneak into the Playhouse Disney show too. Is that inside?

Can't wait to see DS come up to Darth Vader and say "I'm Wuke Skywaker". He's so cute but doens't say it right.

Yep. Big indoor theatre.

My 5 yr old DS went from 8 am to midnight without a rest all week so I bet your guy will be so excited he keeps going and then crashes on the drive home! especially if only 1 day. Find as shady a spot as you can for the parade get one of those huge long popsicles and by the time the parade is over he'll have had a rest and cool fluids also because being dehydrated makes you tired. Have fun!

You could also go inside and see One Man's Dream. You can spend as long as you like seeing the exhibits and then the film is about 20 minutes. Another good choice would be the animation show. You sometimes have to wait awhile to get in, but you can see a film and then see characters afterward. The Muppet movie would also give your some inside time.
