MGM- Great Movie Ride??

Anyone know if the rehab is finished or is the ride still down?? Thanks.

Latest notice is the ride will be down until June 29th. I'm going in early June and have kept checking on this. There were, for a while, rumors it would reopen earlier, but I fear that was just wishful thinking on the part of the poster.

Knock on wood, but we're not hopeful for early June.

The Movie Ride was suppose to be done early April, but I was there April 21 and it was still closed. I was really disappointed, cause I feel that the great movie ride at MGM was the main reason I was there. I guess you can't win them all.

I'm so sorry to hear this...I had also heard it would be open by now! Oh well, more time to eat at the Brown Derby!

Are they just rehabbing it or will there be any changes made to it?

They're rehabbing it...

They're dusting off the audio-animatronics, repairing the clothing and most likely updating the film montage at the end (I'd imagine them including images from movies like "Chicago" and "Pearl Harbor" in the update)...

Bummer....I love this ride ... it is one of my favorites... we are going the end of May... I guess no chance for me...amy
